Just received yet another call from this phone number.  I believe we're now up to a half dozen calls from them over the last two weeks... I picked up the receiver, didn't let them say anything, just said in a loud voice quit calling us and slammed the receiver down.  Hopefully, I didn't just jinx us into receiving more calls from them.  If I did, I'll report this phone number to the Attorney General's office.

What? How can a call come in to me, then i try calling back and its disconnected?? There is something seriously WRONG with our telephone system. These people should be evaluated more intensely. They are harassing us!

They called 10-15 times a day.  Never leave message.  Very annoying.

Please have 877 336 8958 reported to someone. We're on the "no call" list and we have no business with this company.

They just tried to get through to me.  This is an annual scam.  Suggest that if they call, tell them you are a member of The Sovereign Citizen movement and the only use you have for Sheriff's is that they could make excellent targets.  Want to bet they hang up quickly.  (I'm kidding folks but it would be fun.)

At 4:16 pm, got a call from 877-336-8958. I answered and said hello, but there wasn't anyone there. Not surprising!

877-336-8958  called a few times no one on line...no reason for it, we are old folks.....I did get a letter from Sheriff's "society" as I was friend of the sheriff who quit here a few years ago....He said there was no such thing...when people call here asking for donations, I tell them they are working for a bogus organization....If they are not part of the scam,get out of it...That might be why they think this sort of thing is funny....It isn't even a minor irritant...but I see they are irritating other people....Forget them!!! as the movies say!!!

Received a call from this number - no one answered on their end...   I called the number back - and the operator says it no longer in service!!!   Now how can that be - I just hung up from their call!   Gosh, this is the 3rd time today I've gotten telemarketer calls!   Very annoying!!

I got this number yesterday, and it is likely the same scaming krap as you guys have  experienced. I am also on the do not call list. I was able to effectively block the  culprits on my home answering machine. The volume of Illegal/Scam calls to my home has  gone way down by blocking each and every phone number. I have been checking them on  the internet and am quite sure that they are all Scams. I did try to get through to  the qwest "call rejection" service number [1-888-(yourareacode)-8052]. It is now  Century link, and it is quite evident that no matter which phone I call from, the only  thing I was allowed to do is loop-out and end with the message "I'm sorry, I didn't  get that. Please try again Later", if I tried to enter my home phone number. Anyway,  instead of multiple calls daily, I am down to about one krap call every three days.  The following list is one that I assembled over the last 6 weeks or so and I hope  someone else can reduce their number of scam calls by recognizing and blocking them on  their home answering machines:  213 289-9006; 202 499-1485; 312-465-1104: 323-481-3629:   471 220-1002;  503 390- 8731;  702 227-8038;  800 662-3806;  877 258-0718;  877 336-8958; 914 227-5803; 914-373-7134:   954  567-9353;  971 220-1771;  Keep on blocking and reporting rogue calls on sites like 800notes.com, whocallsme.com, phoneowner.info

i answered and the a male voice said "wango tango" and then some other garble I could not decifer.  So What the heck it that?  OKAY so I hope  Some day all the freeky callers who call people at all hours with prank calls,  will fall of the face of the earth.  Yeah that would be good!

i keep getting this call also but when answering it no one is there. when calling it I get a disconnected recording or no longer in service. I'm reporting it. I sugesst you do the same.

Called but no one was on the line when I picked up the phone. This has happened several times this week. They seem to call around 8pm. The caller ID says Out of Area. When I called the number back a recording says it's disconnected.

Just got a call from these guys. Didn't pick up, but they let a weird message just saying: "10 Hours.....10 Hours..."

Wise of them to not have their name (other than "toll free") show up in CID.. they're certainly not making any friends by calling people who are on the Do-NOT-Call list (me) 2 or 3 times a day, day after day, not saying anything, not leaving any message, and hanging up if i actually pick up...

I got the call just now, and if they were actually calling for an Idaho Sheriff organization (as opposed to phishing), it seems like they'd leave a message instead of hanging up upon hearing the answering machine greeting. Anyone try a callback to see if the number's real?

SCAM CALL requesting money for Idaho Sheriff's "FALLEN OFFICER" Funeral fund.  I called Sheriffs department and they said there is no such fund, never has been, and probably never will be since their department carries insurance to cover such expenses 100%

This is another criminal scam outfit. The last one of thes phony police benevolent crooks I encountered was based out of Utah. As we all know all telemarketing is unethical and most of it is criminal like these vermin. Report them to the Idaho state Attorney General.
