well i guess if thats what you have to do do. look im just saying that i was a little too curious to let it go and like i said im glad i i didnt, i got some info, have to do do some back tracking looking into my records and hopefully things will work themselves out..... did you call the place to even find out what your paperwork was about. look im not here to get into a debate obviously its your choice to do what you have to do but you never know it may be in your best interest to find out what this is concerning....to be honest, i called and found out some things i didnt even know about.. it was brought to my attention and im investigating things... my ex girlfriend jumped on the internet and used my name and social to open up internet loans but had them deposited into her bank account.... she took out 3, i never knew about it so they stated that they had sent out notification via certified mail because regular mail notifications were being sent to her house and went un responded too thats all, it is a legal office and they handle different claims they send out certified paperwork, just some info for you if your hesitant about calling, just call get info find out what it is so maybe you can maybe avoid someone coming to your job....

I contacted my HR department. I work for the State.  IF he shows up, he will be escorted off of the premises.  This is considered harassment.

Got calls yesterday and today AT WORK!  Same threats, about coming to my place of employment to serve me papers to appear in court?  WTH?  He says his name is Ken Fisher, but is probably "Phisher."

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:
Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.
Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.

Got a call from a Ken Fisher saying that he was representing someone at 877-338-2185 in a litigation case. He said that he would be serving papers at my home or on my job within two days and that I could call the number listed above and give them a reference number to find out what this was about. When I called, I received a poor recording from the "Office of Ryan" requesting that I leave certain information and that he would call me back...I have no idea what this is about.

bethany if you want these obnoxious calls to stop call consumercredithelpers, i did and all the b%@*! calls stopped immediately. I tried calling the Attorney generals office but it took to long to get anything done. 855-672-1988 is the number you should call!
