Pure garbage call.  Trying to sell.  I am on national "do not call" list - which they ignore.  Reporting them to FTC --- You should too.  If enough people complain the government will take action.

call repeatedly no msg. I wont answer any 800# calls. without a name I know.

I have received several calls from this phone number but have been lucky because I have missed them all.  I got curious about the 877 prefix ion my phone display so I looked it up on the internet and I learned something new.  According to the http://areacode.org/877, Area code 877 is one of the area codes reserved for toll-free calls in which the calling party is not charged. Instead, the telephone carrier charges the cost of the call to the called party. Toll-free numbers, such as 877 numbers, have applications such as technical support, customer service, and personal use.

No wonder they call everyone so frequently, they aren't paying the bill, the party who answer is. Just an FYI.

I looked all this up via Corporate name on Google. I asked if she worked for them -she said YES kinda nasty. She is 27 and sounds uneduated and gave her my phone number and said every time they call.. I would call her. She made a couple of threats and I said go ahead-I am a lawyer. She SHUT up!..  a week later.. NO calls!
Morons were calling for a Teddy someone. I have had this phone number for 42 years and NO Teddy ever lived here.

When I call back it says 'thank you for your interest in our publication' they called again and when I answered it was March of Dimes, and they were extremely pushy trying to sign me up for a fundraising event.

I keep receiving calls from numbers of 866-434-5919 and 877-345-1392. I always let it run to voice msg but that does not seem to stop them from calling me on a daily basis. They sometimes stop for a day or so, and then give me 3 to 4 calls each day. There is no record of their numbers anywhere, all I wish for is to have it stop.

No, it's faked or spoofed Caller ID which gets a business caller in trouble. Sending "blocked" or "unknown" rather than a name tag is annoying but not fraudulent. Telemarketers are required to display a valid number but not debt collectors.

If you want to catch FirstSource breaking laws, you shouldn't have long to wait for misleading and deceptive behavior, as well as failing to honor written requests to limit their contact. They had to pay us a tidy sum for their sloppy work.

It appears from the report history this phone number was once controlled by a telemarketer and was recycled early this year. This is why every time someone wants an 800Notes API or some way to use the site as a blocking device blacklist the idea is unworkable.

I just received a call from this number. Caller identified himself as Brian from First Source Advantage, a debt collector. I just do not like businesses that do not identify the business name on Caller ID. Correct or not, I've been told that the lack of ID is illegal anyway.

Started getting these this week, no caller ID, no voicemail.  When I tried to call back, got a message saying it was somebody's office.  I did not leave a message and have since blocked them from my cell phone.

Collection agency. They call Monday through Friday, several times a day. They keep calling despite having a payment arrangement with them - which surprise surprise is the same amount I was sending before I got sent to collection (medical facility wasn't happy with how much I was sending, be happy I was able to send anything at all)!

Don't know how your phones work, but they are on my reject list, so I never actually receive their calls, I just see the number show up in the call log.

This caller doesn't identify their company and conitunes to call.

I answered with the usual info for my company and a very business like woman(american) asked to speak to the manager-ceo for the company.
I responded "That will never happen" and then I asked whom I was speaking with and she gave me the name Marie Froth? and then I asked what the call was concerning and she said"strategic planning".
I told her the usual about how  to send info to us about whatever she was selling and she still pressed for managers name.
This is always done by sales people to show proof that they made the sales call.I have worked here many years and I am aware of how this info would be used,so of course she did not get anything.
She said she other info available she would try and "Thanked me for my help today" sarcastically.

Thompson is persistent - 11 calls in the last 3 weeks - never answered

calls evenings & nights, does not leave message - i do not pick up. how do i get them to stop?

Received call with no voice content - could be someone who's counterfeiting Thompson Publishing's number.

She's trying to sell our HR Director a CD "that he can use to customize" HR forms he gets from the state.  He wasn't interested

I called the number back and it did say Thompson group

called saying for March of Dimes Jail n Bail. When i ran those in college we never sounded scripped like this did.

I've never bought anything from Thompson but got on their sales call list, anyway.  I've asked to be removed to no avail.  I finally filed a complaint with the FTC's do-not-call-list division.

It's Thompson Publishing Group although the caller ID simply said "Toll Free Call"--and they wanted to talk to the person in charge of managing grants; when I told them my company writes them and we do not manage them--that our clients do, he wanted to know if he could get a list of our clients! Over my dead body! And yes, if you buy something from them once, they will hound you via email and phone to buy more and/or to attend their webinar and phone seminars, etc. Also very pricey PD if you ask me for what you get.

They have called my phone for the first time ... and when I checked the voicemail it says "blah blah blah" and then she pauses and says "but it's good to see him"...I called back and it went straight to a message saying to leave your name and number etc.
