I just now received a phone call from 877-347-0214, ext. 7021. At least that was the number the woman gave me when I asked for a call-back number. I informed her politely that I was on the Missouri no-call list, and that her company was in violation of state law. She offered me a number to call to get me off of the list, but I told her that I was already on the state no-call list and that her company was in violation and that I would report the information to the State Attorney. A man came on the phone and with a threatening tone, said that he was the manager and that it was a violation of federal law to swear over the telephone! (I had not sworn, definitely - I was very polite). I think he said that he worked for the federal government, but I couldn't hear clearly, so I asked him what he had just said. He replied that I would get a call from him every day, and that he would even come to my house! I couldn't believe it. I called the Missouri Attorney General no-call-list office at 866-662-2551 and told them what had happened.

Sept 3, 2010 - Caller ID shows: Teliax Inc 719-466-4228. Caller said he works for Capital Wealth Management Group at 877-347-0214. They work with people who are behind on their mortgage. He said it is part of a government program.  I said you ?work for our government? and he said ?NO?. He said mortgage interest rates to drop 2 to 3%. I asked him what it would cost and he said $2,000 in up-front fees. I told him a legitimate company would NEVER collect up-front and he should stop calling. I'm on the no-call list; he said calls are made randomly for targeted areas.
