Your post reads like a brochure for professional privacy invaders. It's sickening.

People who refuse to let you invade their privacy aren't ignorant. And people who make a living invading the privacy of others, no matter how "good" they think their cause is, should be prepared for the inevitable rudeness of those of us who resent you and you damn calls on the phone WE PAY FOR where you ask for information that is NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS.

I took the call, they are a legitimate company. They have been around for over 25 plus years.  They conduct surveys .  I was referred to the head person over a particular project with the mississippi,and they do check out clear and clean.  The woman who called me seemed nice enough and professional.  I think what makes some of the people so upset is they are not as knowledgable of the Do Not Call list as they think they are. I found out it applies to those agencies soliciting for money..... Not research,that is the catagory that they(s r g) falls into.   So rather than be ignorant and rude, I asked my questions,was given a couple of days to investigate then did the little survey.....well it was long but interesting.  And for a good cause,it is always easy to be rude when hiding behind your phone........ Or are hidden?  You can be cautious withhout being rude.i feel good knowing I participated in something  that has potential to raise health awareness of where we stand as mississippians.

This is a message board for discussing spam and scam phone calls.  No one from here is calling you.  

Posting your name and phone number here was not wise.  Thieves and scammers read here and they use Bot programs to harvest names and phone numbers to pester.  You will get more calls.

I have asked the board administrator to remove your phone number and last name, but she doesn't work 24/7.  Your information may be up for several days.

Please remove [removed] from your call list.  I've lost count of the number of times we received calls from S R G 601-326-0005 this week.

These number has called my phone at 6:23, 7:23 and now 8:23.  Have not answered and they don't leave a message.  Shows as S R G, please stop calling me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This "S R G" number is annoying. I get spam calls daily. I wish these companies would get the point: no one wants to talk to scammers.

I just called the 800 number and they say they are doing surveys on the mental and physcial health of people in MS.SOUNDS LIKE BULL TO ME,I will answer and then hang up from now on.I do not like nosey people.

Sick and tired of them calling .  How do they get by when you  are on  the do not call list.

These people call all the time.  I called them back at the number provided,  601-977-0111 and they say they are a research group and that is why they can call even though we are on a do not call list.

Hey folks, if you googled this number and notice they have a contact # and information, take a minute and complain to the FCC about them.

Yes, I just got a call from them too, and am going to fill out the complaint form and let the FCC deal with it.

If enough folks complain, the company gets in some pretty major trouble...especially if you are on the Do Not Call list (and of course I am too).  Let the FCC know that we are FED UP with these callers wasting our time - If I wanted to take a survey, I'd google for one.  If I wanted to conduct business with some of these companies that call....I'd call them.

Just 1 call so far

I receive at least one call a week or maybe more from this number. When I answer they always hang up! It is frustrating! They are calling my cell phone!

Said they were taking a survey about the upcoming election. Asked if anybody in family worked for media, advertising agency, etc. Then asked for youngest male in house, then asked age group. Then told me they had reached their quota in my demographic and wished me a good evening.

This number and S R G has been calling for about two weeks now. I am sick of it. I will be calling someone in Jackson, maybe the Attorney General's office. I have answered two times and someone just sits there on the other end  never saying a word, just breathing. I am sick of it. Finally, the answering machine picks up the calls and guess what? They never leave a message!!! How strange, if, they really want to talk, why do they even call. I am also on the Do Not Call List....

When they call me I just meow like a cat, bark like a dog or ask them very intimate questions of a highly personal nature. Hey, I paid the phone bill at my house, not them. Sometimes I engage them in their ploy to string them along and waste their time- giving them bogus answers and giggling. A very loud whistle in the mouthpiece will work very well also (so I'm told ;-) ).

They do research and surveys.  I have participated several times.  Many people I know have.  They pay cash to attend various marketing survey sessions.  usually last 1.5 hours....pays anywhere from 50 - 150 per session!!!  No, I don't work for them.  They sessions could be about cable companies, smoking, christian financial consultants, etc.  I don't mind sitting with a group of my peers for an hour or so and making $100 in cash.  Always a safe environment.

They try to make it sound like a Health Department Research project but it seems to be a telecom research project.

This number keeps calling a fax line and when I choose to receive the fax (out of sheer curiosity) it says fax failed.  The ID is S R G.  They call at least 3 times a week!

received this call, and added it to my selective call rejection list. Now when they call it never rings my phone. Check with your phone company to see if they offer selective call rejection. If they use a Nortel CS-1500 soft-switch they can offer you this service.

Just got another call from this number. Says on ID S R G.  Woman said she was calling from the health dept.  My husband answered the 2nd call we got from them yesterday.  Some woman told him they were doing a survey on health for Mississippi.  My husband told her just to put us in the top range of health, she said ok and they hung up.  I told this woman today that we have gotten multiple calls from them.  She was like.."Mam we didn't call you.  It is a computer that does the calling." I was like my husband already talked with you yesterday.  Before I could say to not call us anymore she hung up on me.  Even if this is legit..I'm on the Do Not Call.  Not to mention now-a-days nobody trusts anything over the phone and aren't going to give them time of day anyway!
