Got a call from this number...told them NOT to call my home again or they would be reported for harassment.

I recently upgraded my Comcast to Triple Play, which includes a digital phone service. My guess is that these people somehow get a list of numbers (possibly the jerks who work at Comcast sell the numbers to people behind the company's back) and then this dish network place calls, thinking you are going to give up your newly subscribed Comcast package and get some crappy dish. It's the National Do Not Call registry. Not sure if it works, but I gave it a try.

Comes up as Toll Free Call.  I don't answer those kind of calls.  I have a great feature on my phone called Selective Call Acceptance.  Basically I can block up to 12 numbers and when that number calls they get a nice little message that says that I am not taking any calls from this number.  Very nice feature.  I suggest anyone that is having problems with unmwanted callers to find out if you have this kind of feature.

....god, and I thought I was having a hard time with these guys.  Our number just came in service and within three hours they were calling ... isn't there someplace to report these dodos?

got a call from 1-877-347-4595 it was dish network told them to take me off there call list.....  we shall see what happens..

unwanted call

I received several calls from this number.  The first call, the guy was yelling into the answering machine stating, "hello! hello! I know you are there."  The second call just kept demanding for us to answer.  I don't know who these guys are but I can't get through when I call back.

We got a call from 877-347-4595 and we let the answering machine pick up and they were whistling.

you had better luck than me, they were calling me four and five times a day, waking me up (i work nights), finally, I called them and asked them to take me off the call list, they said no problem, next day they called four times, I called them back, asked to speak with a supervisor, Christopher gave me the following number to call: 800 546 2868, a number to a porn line. Very funny. I then called again spoke with a moron named Niel. this moron said he would make it a point of calling me TWICE as many times as they have been. What a great company!!!!! I then found a number to corporate on the dish satellite web site, spoke to a woman names Beverly, she stated that the call cenetr people were not thier employees, hence she could do nothing about the harrassing calls, next I spoke with a man named Daniel, wow, Daniel has some issues, he stated that becuase I was not a customer of dish satellite, that there was nothing he could do, then asked me if I was interested in purchasing a subscription. Yeah sure, Daniel. Having now spent several hours trying to get a resolution, having no luck, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I called the 877 347 4595 number some where around 90 times in the next hour. Funny thing happened after that, even though the sick b*****d that gave me the number to the porn line (christopher) threatened to come to my house to kill me, they have not called my house since that day

Called, asked for my name pronounced in a strange way, and then when I asked "who is calling," the line seemed dead. And it was.

Just called back. Turns out it was "Dish Factory Direct," which is a part of the Dish Satellite Network. They said they had automatic dialers. I told them to take me off their list, they said okay. Apologized.
