This scam "recovery company" calls every fricking Saturday at 8:00 in the morning!!!! WHen I call them back using the *69 function, I get this "plaza recovery" and have asked three times to speak to a supervisor, to which the extremely combative and harassing "chuck Jones" practically yelled that there was no supervisor available in order to ensure that I would stop being harassed and my whole family awakened at 8 a.m. every Saturday morning :o!!!! How do I report this repeated and illegal harassment since they refuse to even tell me why they continue to call??? They even admit that my "number is not in the system to remove", They are not even looking for anyone with my number or last name, yet they continue to call and harass my whole entire house!!!!! Where are the enterprising attorneys who want to win a class action lawsuit??? Here we all are...your plaintiffs!!! Take this company DOWN!!!!!!

The first call came in on 1/9/2012. Caller ID showed: "Unavailable;" 1-888-552-0553. Research showed the number belonged to Plaza Recovery, Inc. (formerly known as Plaza Associates.) I didn't answer that call, and no voice message was left.

This morning at 9:36 a.m. another call came in using a different Caller ID number. My Caller ID showed "Unavailable" for the caller name and 1-877-347-5491 for the caller's telephone number. I picked up the telephone receiver and said nothing. I immediately heard numerous voices in the background - some of them talking, others laughing - indicating the call was probably made from a call center. After about five or six seconds of silence, a female voice said "Hello?" After considering whether to say anything, I decided not to and hung up the phone. (I was harassed for six months last year by two third party debt collection agencies allegedly looking for someone I had never heard of. After six months of harassment and numerous complaints filed with the FTC, the calls stopped. I assume Plaza Recovery, Inc. uses a similar game plan in its effort to collect on debts that were charged off or on debts where the statute of limitations to collect the debt has ended - call every telephone number listed in the debtor's file (no matter how outdated) and harass anyone who answers the phone in an attempt to find the person the collector is looking for.)

Scam debt collector.  Tried to get my DOB.  When I questioned if they were legit debt collector they hung up the phone.  Do not give them any information.

Asked fro someone who does not live here.  said to call them back about a debt.  No way.

I get several calls per week asking for  Cynthia Loftin.  I don't know cynthia and have told them repeatedly.  I have asked them not to call me anymore to no avail.  The calls keep coming. Please help me stop this .  I am 88 years old and this really bothers me.

Scam debt collection, also calls from 888-514-0445 & 866-750-0873

Calls from several numbers (888-514-0445, 866-750-0873, 877-347-5491 ect..) attempting to get personal information including my bank account info.  Company refuses to validate debt or give me any information other than trying to settle for a percentage the supposed amount that is owed. Considering I do not owe this company nor in collections with anyone, they refuse to give me any information about the "so-called" debt and states they are NOT a collection agency,  I will consider this to be an attempt to scam me and will pursue it as so.  

Don't bother with the FTC or BBB.  Companies like this use Skype and Magicjack from other countries to get your bank account info, empty your account and run.

A***oles keep calling and hanging up. Reported to FTC they don't seem to care

I recieved a call from this number - the man on the other end of the phone asked for a name I've never heard of, and when I asked him to remove my name/number from his calling list he was incredibly rude, and argued with me about his "service" not being a telemarketing company.

I want this number blocked.

They are calling from Plaza Associates regarding an old repo, they call all day long, even after you have spoken with them about the debt - I saved their number and send it straight to voicemail!

Receievd call at 8:38 am. Did not answer since I didn not know anyone with this number.

It is Plaza Associates. They called looking for Alfredo, no one by that name I reply, click in my ear, no name or why they are calling. I call back, ask for a manager get someone named Fernando Gonzalez. I tell him what happened and to remove my name, he claims to have done so....guess we'll see......

Calls and leaves no message or hangs up when I do answer to cuss them out. I am sick of getting these annoying calls.

This number calls me all hours of the day and night.  They just leave a message asking me to call them back.  They do not iindicate why they are calling.  The call in excess of 6 times per day.

I have reason to believe they are trying to scam people for bank account info.  I was called twice about some repossession and the money that was still needed after the car sold at auction.  I've personally never financed or leased a car as I just pay cash. So after the first call, I checked all my credit reports and the only two things reporting are my mortgage and CC I use in case of an emergency.  No auto loan, no repo, no collection.. So a few months later, another call, this time they were able to give me my SSN along with an address that I lived at 12 years ago.  Again I check my credit report.  Low and behold, Plaza Assoc. put a big red mark on all three for the amount left on the car.  I called back asked them WTF!? and to send me some documents and I'm told to contact the original creditor, they don't have the documents!?  I'm here a month later with no documents and trying to have the entry investigated with two of the CRs not wanting to take them off.  

Looking at the information on my CR, it was pulled by Plaza and the information, including the 12 year old address was still being listed along with my new phone number.  I believe they cold pulled my report, got the info and are trying to illegally collect on a non existent debt.  They are too worried about getting your bank account info and to try to "settle" they push the validity of the debt and trying to even prove it out the window!

Trying to collect on a so-called deficiency from an illegal repo 7 years back.  They can't provide me with the paperwork requested and continue to call. They have changed their numbers several times as well.  Time for a certified c&d letter!

This is a debt collector. Indeed they are NASTY. I made the mistake of answering ONCE. Never again. and I wasn't even their target.

asking for lou  the owner  of the store,. its a big store . do you thing the owner  will take  phone calls ? i ask  to leave  a message for him  but  no he didn't want  n insist for owner ,  owners are not siting 24 hours at  any business too answer  phone calls that's why they have employees  to do that

Received a call on my Home Phone at 8:10 am and asked who is calling , they said Plaza Associates then I told them I did not want to talk to them because they called too early in the morning and they hung up on me.... Then my Cell Phone rang at 8:11 and it was the same number so I did not answer it ....
