Man called saying had local contracting business. Asked to be taken off call list. He became irate and said "how can you be so rude. What do you have against hard working americans trying to get work.". Could hear background noise that he was in a telemarketing center. Home sick from work and this is what have to deal with. Rude telemarketing jerks!

Didn't pick up. No message left. Number blocked in the future. (I bought a stand-alone call blocker device on eBay; it will block 1500 numbers. My Panasonic phone can only block 30 numbers; not nearly enough!)

Caller ID said only "Toll Free Caller", but had the number (877) 357-4561. The salesman, who said that his name was Steven Clark, identified the business as "Nearby Specialists, a local contractor". When I said that I was on the Do Not Call list, he claimed that he had checked the list and that I was not on it.

I received calls from this number twice previously, but no one was on the line.

Just got another call from these morons.  As usual I didn't answer it, but it is just so annoying to be interruped for no reason, especially on a Sunday morning when I am waiting for an important call.  Shut them down!

The gal who called identified herself as calling for a home repair company. I informed her that I was not the homeowner and that I only rented here. She replied by saying " well then, it's been nice talking to you A$$HOLE" then hung up.

They have called many times for home repair. When I ask them not to call the young black woman said, "I know where you live," and proceeded to use some pretty fowl language. About two hours later she called saying she was on her way to my house and I should look for her.  This time they called the wrong house.  I am a Deputy District Attorney, and I will hunt them down.

Got the call at 9:24AM.  Knew it was a scam but I like to "play along" if I have the time to do so.

Spend $50 and buy a call blocking phone.  Panasonic and Uniden make wonderful call blocking phones and they come with at least one additional wireless handheld phone.

Said they were in our area giving estimates on home repair. I told him we are on the Do Not Call list and asked him why his company does not honor this list. He threatened to come to my house and inflict bodily injury to my wife. I have filed a report with our local sheriff.

call came in to my moms house saying were doing construction next door you need to move your car she parks in the garage. she said take me off your list but calling the number doesn't exist  we thought if she came out for any reason to move her car they would have robed her or who knows

These people are unbelievable.  

The caller was supposedly from a building company who was asking what I needed done in my house.  I told him that I didn't need anything and when I did, I would call.  I then asked him to remove my number from his list and that this was not the first time I had asked.  He replied that it must have been another company and that if I had asked they would have removed my number the first time (sure they would).

I then told him to remove my number, but as I spoke, he quickly interrupted me and said that is all I had to say and not be a jacka** about it.  I then responded, "you're the jacka**, a**hole."  I hung up on him.  

They have a lot of nerve calling my home and insulting me after I ask them to remove my number from their list.  It's almost like he waited for my reply after he insulted me....he got one.  Disgusting.

They called again today and no one was there.  This is a spoofed number.  Proof of criminal intent.  I am keeping a spread sheet of EVERY telemarketing, abandoned, spoofed, robocall, etc and I am going to send one copy of each of my state representatives, my Congress Person, my Senators and to the head of the FCC and FTC at the end of the year.  I started in June and I now have over 80 calls in less than 10 weeks.  Let each of do this and inundate our local, state, and federal governmental representatives with the evidence of a growing dissatisfaction with the present level of inaction and the slow rate of prosecution of these criminals.  Let's kick some robocalling, telemarketing buttocks in jail!!!

Been getting calls from these people, but just 10 minutes ago, I picked up for the first time to tell them to stop calling my house. The guy kept asking for the mrs. of the household, and I swear if I could find him I'd sucker punch his nose till I saw a bloody crater. He kept asking questions that I didn't see any point in answering, like "is this _______ Rd.??" and "is this mrs. ______??" it got to the point where since he was ignoring my requests to stop calling and bugging me, I decided to ignore his questions. Well, this made him think I had hung up on him, so then he said "f***ing hanging up on me, you f***ing cu*t!"

Then when I said "excuse me?" he hung up himself.. What a hypocritical idiot.....

Of course, the reason they can't get better jobs than something like this is because they can't be better people, being rude and obnoxious that way. I pity them, but I also hate their guts. Tired of my phone ringing when it's not important and to pick up only to hear ugly names from the other end. First time I picked up from this number today, and I am definitely not picking up again....

I was very seriously disgruntled when I came to this site to complain, but after reading these two posts above, I had a good laugh and felt so much better.  I also have some real estate in Florida for sale, as well as a bridge in Brooklyn.  I seriously hope the person in Costa Mesa was being facetious and didn't actually send these scammers any money.  They ought to be in jail.

Appears to be a robo-caller.  They called my number twice this week, but I waited about 15 seconds before it disconnected.  Filed a complaint with the FTC on both calls.

This call was from First Response Team. I took a very long survey so that our city could be shielded from floods, earthquakes, and fires. They sell a device that can help get the police and fire department to you FIRST. What it does is put your house 1st on the fire department's list(or police) by routing your 911 to the top of the 911 calls and it only costs $1412.00 with free shipping. That way, they come to you FIRST, no matter what. I bought one and have not received it, yet. I will report back on it after I receive and it is installed.

i am so freaking tired of all of these different numbers that call my house every single day.  sometimes i get 4 or 5 calls from all kinds of different numbers.  sometimes they leave various voice automated messages.  every one of them i have found on these annoying phone numbers web sites where others are also getting multiple calls.  what i don't understand is what they are getting out of these calls?  seems they often don't leave a message but just keep calling and calling at all hours.  if i do happen to answer hoping that i can get them to stop calling, either they hang up or i hang up on them.  what is the point?  i don't get it!!!  every day!!!  i am so annoyed from these calls.  AHHHHHHHH!!!!  i want to scream!   i am on the do not call list and apparently that does not add up to a hill of beans.  i also update my do not call status.  i have never fallen for any of these scams, so i don't really get why they keep calling.  SO TIRED OF THE CALLS

These people are constantly calling. The caller ID just says "800 Service" and the phone number. I never answer and they have never left a message.

We filed a complaint.  Every time this company calls, please people file the complaint.  This phone number is not legitimate and they are most likely phishing for info.  The callers are rude and intrusive.  They are never friendly.

THESE PEOPLE ARE FREAKING ANNOYING...THE NEED FOR ALL CAPS HERE!!!! Called me 4 times in a row with the last time I screamed so incredibly loud into the phone that I could be heard outside!!  I agree with ANGRYGRAMMA!!  I asked who they were and they were nasty and would only speak to my husband. Ughhh and told me it was medically related and how they represented Kaiser Permanente and how we needed Kaiser.  Rude, obnoxious.  I have blocked their # but it doesn't really seem to help.  I am filing a complaint with the FCC after this.
