They are Collection Consultants of California. In my case they are collecting for a local hospital. The day they called me they also pull my credit report.

This is amazing. I'm a Kaiser patient who went to southern california Kaiser for treatment. They can't get their s*** together and figure this out. So they sent this bottom feeding collection agency on me. They better hope I never get terminal cancer. It would be fun to act out on them.

This must be a general collection agency. In our case they are collecting for our local hospital. If you receive a call from this number, odds are, they are trying to collect on a debt.

I'd love to say otherwise, but funeral homes do take advantage of people when a loved one passes away. It is called the 'Death Industry' after all. I would never go to make arrangements alone. Take family, or a friend. As you said, read, & if you need to, tell them you'll take the contract home - read it - come back tomorrow, & ask lots of questions.

It's a collection agency for numerous companies. In my case, Forest Lawn Mortuaries. Believe you me, It's all about the money with Forest Lawn. My son Passed away recently, signed the contract for the services and was told that the entire amount owede had to be payed in full by the day before services of the services would be postponed. The total amount was paid. Several weeks after, I get slammed with a bill from Forest Lawn for a transportation fee, the fee was for my son's body transported from the Coroner's office to the mortuary. Word of advise... Read the contract before signing it! Forest Lawn has a paragraph in the contract stating that you are responsible for any charges that arise after the services. So is this it? or should I worry of other charges? Carefull with Forest Lawn, take advantage of the grieving kin.....

Never use Kaiser, they have great services and customer service....however they are leading in information about billing, medications, medical conditions, hospital stays and any time you visit a doctor or pharmacy being reported to ACA.  They are hiding behind the excuse of life insurance.  Back on topic, this is a general collection agency.  They collect for many insurance companies.

I agree...collections from Kaiser.  I pay my monthly dues and my copays. (on a side note I always pay my bills and have excellent credit as a result.  But a guy can't pay what he doesn't know about)Next thing I know I get contacted from this debt collector.  IT WOULD BE NICE TO GET A DAMN BILL FIRST!!  It is safe to say I don't like Kaiser and would not be with them if it wasn't for my company.  I might change insurance anyway just to save my credit from Kaiser.

Kaiser for a supposed bill in the amount of $82.00 billed in 8/2012. I had numerous calls with Kaiser in 2012 about services and at that time found out they owed me money and sent me a refund check at the end of 2012. I did not renew insurance with them as they are IDIOTS their left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. The worse insurance and customer service EVER. Now over 1 a year later they say I owe them $82.00 you have got to be kidding me......RIDICULOUS.

In my case it was Kaiser sent to collections for co-pay. Shout out to previous person mentioning Kaiser. In my case contacted Kaiser verified they contacted collections I  settled with Kaiser and they say... they will adjust the account.
