It's a credit recovery service. The reason:
My phone is an AT&T GoPhone, i.e., pay-as-you-go. I got it two months ago, and initially got calls from many unknown callers.
Why so many from collection histories? Many people with bad credit histories use these no-contract phones services because they do not require a credit history. They may apply for loans, skip out on rent, whatever.
Then they ditch the phones/numbers when they get too many calls from pissed off companies. AT&T, T-Mobile, so on, put the number as dormant for 6 months or so.
Next, we get a pay-as-you-go phone from Walmart(or where ever) and we begin getting calls intended for the previous users.
What to do?

This is a collection agency. I only know that because the person they asked for is the same person I get calls for alot from other collection agencies. The person was very rude, when I said they couldnt talk to the collectee and started to ask him to delete my number from the system, he hung up on me.

I get this everyday except when I pick up they know my name. I have so many missed calls from them. If it IS a collections agency they have no business knowing my number because I don't have a credit card, and I don't have any debts. It's getting annoying.

Keep getting multiple calls. How can it be stopped. It is to my cell phone, all minutes are precious.

They call everyday around 8:30/8:41am. Leave no message. I called the number which appears on my caller ID and after a very long while a recording came to which I was directed to dial zero for an urgent response. Of course no one answered the phone. If the person is going to take the time to constantly dial my number everyday at the same time because he/she does not have anything better to do with their time or phone the least they can do is leave a message. Only someone who does this constantly has mental issues and should seek help. Maybe we should all report this to FCC and have them track this or these individuals. You can only get away with this but for so long.

Just got a call from this number. Waited for a real person to pick up the line, when they did they said "this is a personal business call for ____". When I pressed them to provide their name and the organization from where they were calling, the guy , Darren, would not provide a company name and hung up on me when I repeated the question. VERY SHADY.

Message left was to "wait for an important message." After about 10 secs, "Please wait for an important personal message." Another few secs, "We're sorry. All agents are currently busy. Please try your call again later." Go figger!

I received a phone call from 877-358-9638. When i answered the phone, the person waited a while, then hung up. Very rude I should say!!!
