Here's the newest twist.
Well, I just got off the phone with a man named Joseph -- in the Phillopines.  I called and got him twice.  (I'd called two other times and a woman hung up on me after I said my name.)
I called and got Joseph the first time on the number  877-439-0873 that was texted to me along with a $100 offer.  Then on this number listed above 877-366-1415, which I got from googling Saving Spectacular.  
This is a scam.  When you call this number, you get routed via NYC to overseas.  
I don't believe that this scamming company gets the cell phone numbers from a survey.  I don't do surveys.  I recently added my cell phone # to a major credit card company.  Maybe someone stole the cell phone numbers and resold them overseas?
When is government going to go after things creeps?  We need a do-not-text list law with teeth?

I got a text message from 573-200-0008 with the same message as everyone else: "Congratulations...Please call (877) 366-1415 to claim your $100 rewards certificate   Reply STOP to be removed."

I called and when they answered they didn't announce who they were but simply asked my name. I asked who the company was and he said SAVINGS SPECTACULAR. I didn't like that they required you to pay for the shipping fee for them to send you the gift cards. That is a red flag. Its a ploy to get your credit card information and possibly enroll you in a monthly payment membership or something. SCAM. I said "No thank you, g'bye!"

I just got a text that said to call 877-366-1415 to claim a $100.00 gift card. So I called the number from a different phone. They told me they would send me a gift card and all I have to pay was $3.95 for shipping and handling. I asked the foreign caller for the name of their company and that I would research it and call them back.............Hmmmmm I would guess this is a scam.

02/03 Received text from 515.779.2172 to call this #. I called, was told I won a 100.00 Wal-Mart cert.& a 25.00 ?? cert. for taking an online survey. I would receive my winnings within 65 days, all they need is 3.90 processing fee. I asked where they were and she hung up. I did hear many other operators in the back-ground. I have been taking on-line surveys, but the paying to get winnings sent a red-flag warning to me.

received tx msg 3 Feb 2012 from 573 200 2228  stating won 100.00 call 877 366 1415 to win or tx stop to be removed.

I figure like everyone, this is garbage.

I just received the same message in text from 347-757-9576. I decided to look that number up and got nothing but then looked up the 800# it gave and found this board. Glad to hear that a couple of you called and have explained to us what happened in terms of the call disconnecting once you ask them to identify themselves. I will certainly not call now.

Same text but from 662-21-8675. I called and when I asked what company this is for (I didn't give them any info over the phone) my phone got disconnected. Very shady......

Got the same message...to call the 877 number, the text came from 469-537-5218.

Got call of congratulations prize of $100 rewards Did not call back.

Just got the same text as above about to report them to the FCC and/or my carrier. I defiantly don't want to reply back and not know what this is.

The same thing happened to me I got a message saying I won $100! SCAM!

Just received a text message from 914-433-9269 congratulating me on winning $100 certificate, and to call 877-366-1415 to claim it. Or to reply STOP.  

Agree with you Bored, if it was legit the company information would be displayed.  And, if you replied then who knows what can of worms you open into your phone.

Ok first of all if this was legit they would say the name of the company and how I was put in to win.

Second of all for all I know if I reply stop to it then I may very well be saying yes to what ever they want of me.

same thing from 504-280-7490...i won some sort of rewards certificate. deleted it.

Received this text message from (251)235-2189:  Congratulations...Please call (877) 366-1415 to claim your $100 rewards certificate. Reply STOP to be removed."

Of course, I simply deleted.

Add 1-520-223-1131 to the list of numbers that send this text

I also just recieved a text from 208-230-0283 telling me to call 877-366-1415. I read these and did not call.

Same as everyone else. I received a text saying I won a 100$ reward certificate and to call
(877) 366-1415 to claim it or text STOP. I did neither. It came from a phone number (914)433-9269.

I got a text message today from 941-421-2062 asking me to call the 877- number. I called it and after being on hold for about a minute, someone asked for my name (I gave it) and I was told that I had won $125 in Visa rewards something-or-other. He said I had filled out a survey in the last three months and I won based on that info, but when I asked what company he works for, either my phone cut off or he hung up. Wish I hadn't given him my name, but they didn't try to call/text again.

I just received the exact same thing as K. I'm so glad people post things because I was curious to see if it is legit. I'm wondering where it even came from because a company isn't listed!

Same I actually recieved a text from a 602-628-1448 number and the text read Congradulations please call 8773661415 to claim your $100.00 reward certificate. reply STOP to be removed, I recievd this message from a cell number but I am not going to reply stop either, then they will continue to send me crazy stuff using up the messages on my messaging plan.

Same as Xpress above. Got text message offering $100 if I called, but didn't call.

Received a text on 12/26/2011 congratulating me on winning $100 and instructed to call this number.  I didn't call.
