Yes, I get the same calls, almost on a daily basis, several times a day.  I have a land line and have registered this number on the "do not call list".  I never pick up the phone, and after about the third ring, it stops, without any recorded message.  Is there any way to track down the Robo call company that is allowing this scam telemarketer to operate?  

few minutes before this number called me, an unidentified number called first to ask if I'm xxx, then hung up. Sounds kind of plot.

I just got the same message with the same orders.  I listened to the voice mail but am not goign to bother calling back.  Stupidity.

I've called back and been "removed" from their phone list 3 times now, but still get calls.  Talk about harassment....

This is exactly why I'm cancelling my home phone service.  I got the exact same message today.

I have a relatively new cell phone and number, and started receiving these automated messages from 877-366-1845 almost immediately for some guy I've never heard of. After a couple of disconnects and more Muzak, I finally got through today! Hurrah! I talked to a real live person (she was kind of terse, actually) and told her the problem (an automated message every week from the company... this is a new phone number .... take me off your list). She asked for the file number quoted in the message (I had written it down), gave her my cell number, confirmed it was new to me, and she said I was now removed from the list. I got the sense that she has gotten calls like mine before. Now I'll have to wait and see if the calls stop. My recommendation, call the number and wait out the Muzak, be patient and tenacious, and you should be able to get through and taken off the list.

I got a call from this number today. Don't know why I couldn't even decline the call. So I just switched off my phone.
Is there any organization to control this so that we can report and get the number restricted or removed?  It is really annoying !

Got a Recording (Female) Voice) asking for Some Name that I Never heard of before.

"This is an important Phone Call from Mr. River (or something like that) at Financial Debt Recovery Ltd.  My Staff has made numerous attempts to contact you regarding an unresolved business matter without success. You are Required to Contact our office at 877-366-8145 quoting a File Number, by 10:05 am Tomorrow to avoid further action.


This is Very Bold...... I thought that we as Humans were FREE to do what we like?  When did it become a Law to have a Recorded Voice telling you that "YOU ARE REQUIRED TO CALL OUR OFFICE BY 10:05 am the NEXT DAY???????

apparently someone from this number keeps calling people with the same last name as me some where in saskatchewan i want the calls to stop i do not live in saskatchewan and have not for 10 years

IT's a scam! FRAUD! DONT GIVE THEN ANY INFO AND MOST CERTAINLY DONT CALL THEM BACK!

Just got a voicemail from this number also

I called the number back
The automated system repeats itself 5 times.  "if you would like to speak to a representative, stay on the line", and then gives the rest of the options.  Silence.  "Once again, if you would like to speak....", 5 times!!

THEN, when you get past that, they play the same loop of music over and over and over and over, followed by a "Please keep holding" .. more music.

The representative, after 30 MINUTES of waiting on hold, answered with a "hello?"

hmm, odd.  I go on to tell him how infuriating his phone system is, he says "ok".

The number that he's calling is an office, I explain that, he asks for a reference number, I tell him he needs to delete the phone number he is calling, that there is not a person by that name, nor ever has been.  He says "ok"

just got a call - RECORDED message, but name is mumbled, and then the cr*p about serious problem, they've tried to contact me many times (lol this is a new number I just got for unlisted!), tried to imply some fancy name with Financial in it, I must call by certain time or - and at that point I stopped the message machine from taking the full message.

No real company would only rely on phone messages for debt collecting.  Posting this so anyone who gets a call from this company will know not to answer, or at least not comply with this scam.

Dipsticks keep calling.I think its some collection company in Quebec. How they got my number is beyond me. Don't answer and use up your phone time.

Keep getting this number on my home and cell. Getting tired of it!!!! Just delete and don't listen to voice messages. If there's a way to stop them I'd sure like to know it. They either mumble a name you can't decipher and then say it's a business matter or an attempt to collect a debt. I'm pretty sure I know what's behind it and it's pretty sleazy--don't trust a lawyer who wants to help you get rid of them--if you want use your own--in your own town--one that you know!
