Said it was Suntrust and said they were just calling to thank me for being a Suntrust customer!! What??

Repeat calls with no message

Same here.  Reverse lookup on google suggests it's coming from Suntrust Bank in Miami.

The only debt we have in the whole world is a home mortgage, and it's never been paid late.  We don't have any car loans, and our credit card has a zero balance.  

So it must be a sales / solicitation call.  I hate telemarketers, so screw 'em if that's why they called.

I've received calls for nearly two weeks from this number, several times on some days. They are very annoying, because as soon as my answering service picks up, the caller hangs up. (I reserve the right to screen my calls and not be annoyed by hang ups.) I confirmed on a SunTrust business accounts web site that this number is in fact identified with SunTrust (though, of course, that can be spoofed). The SunTrust agent handling a chat session that I initiated refused to handle the complaint, insisting instead that I call the SunTrust business account services at 800-752-2515. I want a record in writing of my complaint, so instead I've sent e-mail to SunTrust customer service.
