I called it back. It's ACC Consumer Debt Release - I think they help you lower your debt. Work with the people you are in debt to, to help you get rid of your debt.

From OCCA Canada offering debt relief. I checked their website and a chat window came up. Asked if they were making telemarketing calls from that number and they said yes and offered to remove my number from their call list. Seems legit.

Before suggesting a company on this website I suggest that you should look up the official company website and look for their contact info cauz there is no way this is OCCA they don't even have matching numbers.

I have 866-248-9654 show up on my phone and then a few minutes later 877-375-4206. The first number is NCO, a collection agency. I looked up this so-called "spoof call". It is "is the practice of causing the telephone network to display a number on the recipient's Caller ID display that is not that of the actual originating station". I have been receiving calls from this number for weeks and I find it "disturbing" as I dont owe any outstanding debts and it is always to my cell phone. Since phone numbers are recycled, this causes some grave issues. I did answer once and they thought I was someone else. They wanted me to respond in writing to such- n- such or send an email to have my number removed from their file. I refuse to provide any personal info. In the mean time, they cost me daytime minutes. To place a complaint, they still end up with my personal info. 6 of 1, half a dozen of another !!!!

I got the same call-accoustic guitar riff and a hang up. It has to be some kind of connecting your phone(if you answer) from Middle East. They use your line to make a spoof call. Very Strange....
