If you love them and know them then please prove they exist by posting their REAL phone number and contact info so a bunch of us can get our $199 back!

Accuse who? The people that placed the ads and are scamming jobseekers? How can we accuse them? Because we got ripped off, that's how. It's not random. As a matter of fact, I know that nobody has successfully "worked" for this company, so it stands to reason that the few that are defending the people at this phone number ARE the people at this phone number. I know, you need to do something to keep those money orders rolling in, right?

I am just doing my job as a citizen to report this scam so others do not lose their money.

Just so you all know, there is no company called HMO. Scam scam scam. All favorable posts on this site & others are fake, probably entered under false names by Jack Weiss. He even scammed the newspapers and used stolen dr. office accounts to place his ads. Everyone inquiring on this phone number needs to contact the newspaper they saw it in and report him for theft. What a loser; get a life.

Tina,
Your responses are rude and ridiculous.  The funny part is that your grammar and spelling are atrocious so it makes you look like an even bigger idiot.

I know nothing about this scam other than seeing an ad and googling the 800 number.  This was the first page that popped up, thankfully.

Thanks to the people who are sharing information here.  You are preventing others from getting ripped off, too.

And Tina, pick up a flipping dictionary if you want to sound half-way educated.  Moron.

This is a SCAM.  Not only do they cheat you out of your money but they place ads on legitimate doctors office accounts to get they advertising for free.  I know because I work for one of the papers that has been hit by this.  DO NOT send these people your money!!

Warning -- this is a complete scam. You will receive a disk of useless information and no work. Then when you call to inquire he will say "hold on" and hang up on you. He needs to be turned in.

Guys -- don't lose your money on this one. This is a total scam. Their "software" is bit of billing information from. 2005/06. They don't even call Medicare "CMS", they still call it "HCFA". And there is no program to install. It says to call to get set up but there is no number provided. The posts in support of this "company" are posted by the same guy (jack) that is trying to take your money. Each post has an as on the bottom and an extreme overuse of apostrophes. No matter what name it is, they are posted by the same person who is trying to scam you. There is no billing work to be done here.

James, you had asked a lot of specific questions in your earlier post, such as how many claims per week do you receive, and how are employees paid. Would you please share those answers with us? Have you started working for them yet? What is their website?

Thanks so much for your help.

Geez, Tina, these are not nutty comments. They are quite valid -- I have doubts that you actually work for them because you haven't provided a single helpful fact to prove that this "job opportunity" is not a scam.  Obviously we are all people looking very diligently for a job because we are doing our "due diligence" before plunking down $200. Any *helpful* information you could provide would be appreciated.

Thanks for that info, Peter, but WHAT IS THEIR WEBSITE? That's the problem. They gave www.hmo.com which is obviously not their website, it is a redirect website to advertisements.

Plus, they made it seem like it was helping people in other countries (i.e. the cleft palate children you see in ads) and hello...? Medicare would not be paying for people in foreign countries. Makes no sense. It's as though the person you talk to has no concept whatsoever how medical billing and reimbursement actually works. I wish somebody who has worked for them or is currently working for them would provide us with some real details!

What is the software called? Did you try installing it? I am supposed to receive mine today. I am relieved to know you at least received something in the mail. From what they tell you, you don't know if they are going to just take your $199 and run!

What phone numbers did they give you to call?

If I receive mine today I will let you know on this site if I was able to get a hold of anyone!

Does anyone find it strange that the only information you can get for this website is this page and the 800notes.com page, where some people paint a vague picture of this company, and then never answer questions? And there is no website for this company. They guy told me the website was HMO.com, which obviously is not their site. It is a url designed to trick people into thinking they are going to real sites but sends them to advertisements. Then he said it was "down".  I guess that means we don't send the $199 money order...

If anyone has sent in a money order for $199 please let us know how it worked out. What is the name of the billing software they send you? What is their tax ID number? What does their lettterhead look like? Who are the claims sent to?

Tina,
It's been over 20 days and you have not responded to Marylynn and Jacki's questions.  Is there a reason for this lack of response?  Sure makes it sound fishy and not legit.
