this a marketing scam and needs to be stopped they use numbers from all over the united states and claim to be different company's I am on a no call number and they still call need to be reported to national call registry    

Jo Ann, the "Do not call" list is for MARKETING NOT collection.. answer and speak to them like a human, i'm sure they probably will not waste their time on you. Maybe they have an old or wrong number.

Funny, YES, thank God for Google because We OWN this number this has NOTHING to do with B of A OR Greentree... believe everything on the internet!! My gosh, how funny.
There is absolutely NO marketing on this line so for all those dreamers out there, you are calling a business which HELPS people like you pay off the debt and fix your credit. the ONLY ones who receive a call are individuals with a ding on their credit and score BELOW 600.

Dont ACT innocent like you have NEVER missed a payment or were NEVER late.. some people think the world is after JUST them, and they are perfect, but in reality (they forget about this!!) they need a consultation, and they need NUMBERS because the NUMBERS NEVER lie...

"kinda ruse" A. protecting someone's privacy may sound rude, but good for the person on the other end, NOT giving out personal information, that sounds like it's YOUR husband's job to do... I'm sure you would feel the same way.. how is the person on the other line supposed to know you're the wife??? Especially if YOU need to ask what this is about.

AND YOU just admitted you're at least 6 months behind on the mortgage, because this is why B of A would transfer the loan, i guess you do think you're special and you dont think you need help..

Swallow your pride because just like there's a reason for a dentist, a tax specialist, and IT person, it's because when you CANT admit to needing help (YOU DONT have perfect credit-obviously) you try these things yourself OR dont do anything and then you end up paying the piper later, which will be most cost affective in the first place, but a "special" person like you and your husband who doesnt need help will cry on this Blogs-websites, until it's too late to have a person proficient in this business to at least speak to you and run the numbers.

Good luck, but i'm sure there are more realistic people here to tell you the truth without you getting upset and realizing that if a "collection agency" Greetree is calling there is something wrong with your perfect world!!

I have nothing with them. They harass. Wrong person.

This number calls my iPad number that seem to belong to a TX land line. I cannot change my iPad number without a charge, sent a message to try to stop the calls, but no luck.

Called and said to call Greentree Debt collector.  Since I do not owe anything to anybody think they
must want info.  I do not have a home loan.....This was a recording so I hung up.  They have called
several times.....I am on the Do Not Call list.

If you deal with Greentree, don't let your payment be even 1 day late or they will constantly harass you.  They call many, many times throughout the day from various numbers.  Sometimes the reps are rude and sometimes they are nice, must depend on what day it is.  Have dealt with them for 13 years now and they can be real a***oles if they want to be.

This Company Green Tree get coming with a recording to call them. They are picking number in the area with the last name with or phone number around their clint. The computer tells you to call them Green Tree at 877-393-3814. This goes on ten or more time a day filling your phone up.

Called and asked for my husband, kinda rude, treated me like a I'm "special" and gave this number to have my husband call them back.  "what is this regarding?" I asked, "it's a personal business matter" they replied, "just have him to call me back!"  Thank God for google.  BofA transferred our loan to Greentree, don't know why they're coughing up attitude, we've never been late and have perfect credit.

877-393-3814 caller is Green Tree Financial. Just took over Bank of America home loans.

It is an automated message that starts soon as you pickup so what you end up hearing depends on how long your voicemail message is.

Just got a call from this number I did not answer because I did not know the number but they did leave me a message , Thank You, that was the message. B of A just transferred my home loan to Greentree. they need better communication

This number keeps calling me, once per day. I have reported it several times to the National Do Not Call Registry. No message is left from caller. I do not answer because I do not recognize it.

no name just a recording of the number...on my answering machine.  how rude.

i got a message from this number and called back.  it then told me to hold.  no company name or info.

Yeah, Bank of America transferred my mortgage account to them so they can service the account.  B of A still owns the loan.  Guess they are outsourcing the collection of payments and statement mailing to them.  It would help if they did a better job explaining who they were and what they wanted.

Called once and left a message to call Greentree.  Called again and left no message so I called the number on my caller ID and the pick up was a recording stating, "thank you for returning our call, someone will be with you shortly."  I hung up the phone since I did not know who was calling. until I read the above posting.

Sorry, I should have been more specific.  I can confirm that it is Greentree Servicing - a mortgage service processor for Bank of America.  I called them back to verify.  Hope this helps!
