Allied interstate called number of times and left a message at home without saying who they are tryng to reach. I am not sure if I should call them back or not. I dont owe money to anybody but its irritating to hear the message in home answering machine. The following is the message they left.
"Hello I'm calling from Allied interstate other thing the collection agency that's attempting to collect a debt and any information we obtained will be used for that purpose. Please call us at 18774895688."

i just got the same CC global B.S. i called my bank and now have to go there to close my account and open a new one.
HK Berner 2011-10-24 00:48:26 Unknown
CC global wrote a fraudulent check out of my account. What I want to know is how they got my account and routing numbers...
An Older Goat 2011-10-20 13:33:15 Unknown
I got a debit on my checking account for $0.01, naming "CC Global" as the payee. It was an electronic check, the address was completely wrong, but the bank routing and account numbers were correct.
On the check was a note, under "my" address:
Future Debit Verification
Call us if error: 877-754-7499
I called my bank, and had them send the check back. I did not call the phone number.
This "check" is totally fraudulent.

Just received ANOTHER call from this SCAM agency. They have been calling me for over a year and a half asking to speak with someone who does NOT live here. I don't even recognize the name. They insist that they have spoken with this person at my number (pretty good trick since this person doesn't exist). They called again this morning and said they were from "Allied Interstate". I told them that no one by that name lives here or uses this phone number, and then I proceeded to tell them that they were a scam organization and were mentioned as such all over the internet. The man I was speaking with became very irate and started yelling at me, saying that Qwest uses them as a collection agency. I called Qwest and that is ABSOLUTELY UNTRUE, they do NOT use them for collections! Qwest is investigating them and their fake organization. Call your local attorney general and file a complaint against this bogus organization, call your local television station and speak with the comsumer reporter as they would probably like to do a story on this scam, and call your local phone company (like Qwest) because there are ways to block their number and never recieve another phone call from them again!
smith 2011-06-06 21:04:47 Unknown
why is it people who get calls from collection agencies automatically think its a scam??? mistakes happen all debt is legit if you owe it you owe it dont hide from it just admit it and it will all work out in the end:)

I received a call from this Allied Intestate asking for my son in law. The funny thing is they called me on my direct line at my office in the county courthouse. They also asked if he works for the same company as me. This person sounded as if she were calling from another country.

They call from this number every day for weeks then stop and start calling again about a debt. They claim they are from Allied Interstate regarding a debt. We don't have any debt problems and the phone calls are anoying last week we received 9 calls on our answering machine.
jenifer 2011-06-06 21:04:47 Unknown
this company "allied interstate" has been calling regarding a debt that they cannot explain to me since I have never had an account with the named company. I've asked them to quit calling several times but they still call all the time.
Allied could be a scam. 2011-06-06 21:04:47 Unknown
I too get calls from Allied Interstate regarding debt. However, the people at Allied, couldn't give me any info to prove that they were a legit company.
I do have a debt for the amount Allied Interstate says though. And, I owe the money to Qwest. I called Qwest and paid them over the phone because I wasn't going to hand out a debit/credit card over teh phone to whomever I was speaking to with Allied. But, now I can't get a hold of allied interstate to tell them that I've paid. The number above doesn't work.
The funny part is that I never received a bill from qwest. Maybe Allied got my bill and is trying to scam me.. either way don't give any money directly to Allied Interstate, try to pay some other way.

Very annoying and will not identify themself. Have NO debt.
Irritated in Washington 2011-06-06 21:04:47 Unknown
I have never had a debt with Allied Interstate.
Are they so stupid as to think that a person would return a call to the message left by a recording?
I just hang up when I hear them calling.
I haven't been notified by credit checking agencies that they have inquired about me and all 3 agencies are on retainer by me.

I was getting missed calls and voice mails from this number but I don't owe any debts so I ignored it. Then I googled them and read that they make more calls than most collection agencies and some of the calls are to the wrong people and they do hard enquiries on your credit report so I called them yesterday.
The lady I spoke to was very nice. She said the number came up for someone called "Juan." I politely told her I am not Juan and I always get phone calls in Spanish (I do not speak it or am I from there and I am female) so obviously there is a mix up with our numbers and she took this information and put me on a "Do Not Call List."
Now if only I can get this person to stop giving out my number to people who are after his money! Grrrr!!!!

Got a message on my answering machine to call during the week M-T during normal business hours.
Called on a Saturday to find out who was so rude as not to leave the name of the calling party only a return number. Found out it was a debt collection agency and I could arrange payment thru their automated system. What a scam since no debt exists with Qwest or anyone. Last month it was for a person who does not exist at this number and they said my number would be removed from the call list. Did not happen.

I have now received 2 phone messages from stating "Again, You have an inportant message from Allies Interstate" and to call them back. As far as I know I have no dept in collection and have not received anything in the mail in this regards. I see on the internet that this may be a scam and not sure if I should even call them back.

This number called and when I call it back it the number doesn't work. They call 3 Times day for the last 2 weeks. On top of that. I am on the FTC, and I have completed *57 3 times and need to call/go see the police for starting harassment charges.

Notes from Allied Interstate call 2009-03-30 22:39:59 Unknown
877-754-7388
A message was left on my voice mail. When I returned
the call as prompted in the voice mail to 877-754-7388,
The announcement said "..Next available rep will be
with you shortly... Not sales solicitation..." When a
human answered, I gathered information, telling them
that they are on speaker phone and I am recording our
conversation. Gabriel from Allied Interstate said
there were two accounts listed under my phone number,
one under Janice Davis, and the other inactive. He said
their "dialer is acting up." The inactive one had
already been marked as being bad. Blamed on the dialer
again. Moving my number from the ...???...list "oops
wrong one 480 Janice Davis..." Are you in Vancouver? I
replied no and our business is not in Vancouver either.
He marked the phone number in the account as a bad
contact, and said we may get automated calls he said
and said to ignore them. Then I heard the
"Hello...this is not a sales call....will be with you
shortly" then silence, then he blamed on the dialer
again and said normally our phone number should not get
calls after 48 hrs of being removed from the account
as a bad number except for dialer is messing up. I
asked for a contact for status reports on getting the
dialer fixed, if we recieve calls after the 48 hours
and Gabriel gave me his supervisor's number 480-610-
3005. Her hame is Pam. I hope this helps someone.
Janice Davis, had better stop using our business phone
number. Records were kept for our legal department of
the calls quite a while ago from Allied Interstate, and
this call record has also been forwarded to our legal
department.

I have been receiving calls from these guys for few week now and finally decided to call back to find out what it's about. They said they were looking for a person named XXX Barn, and I told them I've never heard of a person by that name. I told them that I know of someone with same first name but slightly different last name XXX(Brown) that was the previous home owner of my resident (who I also have been getting calls from another collections agency(Riddles & Associates)). They told me they will remove my number from their directory and should reflect within next 48 hours. Time will tell if I will get another call from them again.
The other collection agency (Riddles&Associates) on the other hand have been leaving messages regardless of my request to not to call. It has been 5 days since my request and if it continues I will write them a notice with certified mail with verification for receipt. I heard you have to put it in writing in order for them to stop calling you. Here is more about this collection agency and information on how to stop them from calling you in the future: http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-800-225-5050/3

They've called me every other day for three weeks. The recording does not say who they are calling for, only to call back. I read on the Internet that if you don't deny a debt it can be assumed yours, so I finally called back to try to clear this up. I got another recording that promises to put you in touch with a real person, but never actually does. To get any account info you are asked to enter your phone number. I was then informed (via recording) of an amount that I owe Qwest. I cannot recall ever even using Qwest, plus my phone # is a new one. I know this debt is not mine. I then tried again to speak to a live person but nothing actually results in a live person. I was cut off eventually.

Just received ANOTHER call from these people. I have been getting calls from this phone number (1-877-754-7388) and from a couple of other numbers that they use for over 1 and 1/2 years. They give me a name and then want to speak with this person. No such person exists at this phone number, yet they insist that they have talked with them. They called today and left their number and identified themselves as "Allied Interstate". I called them back and told them that there is no one here at this number with that name and I then proceeded to tell them that they are mentioned all over the Internet as a scam organization. They man who I spoke with became very irate and started yelling at me. He said that "Qwest" (the phone company) uses them as a collection agency which is untrue (I just called Qwest and they said absolutely not, they do not use this agency for collections), and then he shouted "call back when you get real". This is a SCAM folks, the phone company, Qwest, says it is a scam. Call or write your local attorney general to find out what you can do to stop these charlatans, call your local television consumer reporter to do a story on this bogus business, and call your local phone company (like Qwest) because there are ways to block them from ever calling you again.

I don't even owe a debt, and continue to get these calls. It is frustrating beyond words. Why can't the State Attorney's offices stop this?

ditto... get calls from Allied Interstate, saying they're calling about a debt, and "and all information gathered will be used for that purpose"... for what? to create a debt? they left a message on the ans. machine after a few hang-ups.
877.754.7388 is an automated payment system. Debt supposedly to Qwest & there is no debt!! notifying the FTC... the company has had many legal issues... all over the internet you'll find negative info on them.

I get a call from this number every other day for a few weeks, sometimes twice in the same day, then they take a couple of weeks off and start over again. Say they're Allied interstate calling regarding a debt. If this isn't harrassment why can't I remove my number from their list? Most legitimate companies have this option.
KT 2007-09-20 20:59:27 Unknown
I get a call from this number every other day for a few weeks, then they take a month break and start over again. Say they're Allied interstate calling regarding a debt. They use my maiden name though which would mean it's debt from way back. They leave a number to call back, but I never have.
