First of all it is very easy to see you actually have interest in "this" company so I will address you as a company representative. If your offer is so legitimate why do you not list the company name or any other information?  Unethical people always have a rational for what they do.  You can answer if this hit a sore spot.

In reference to your claims about Repair Defense Network.

First of all, This has 0 impact on anyone's credit. They never asked me for a social security number and the only time I was asked for my credit card was AFTER I was given all of the information.

And to address the SCAM part of your post, if you claim this is a scam than so is buying coverage at the dealership. Its the same thing just has a different form of marketing. Most dealers offer 5/100 policies when your car comes with 3/36 from factory, which means you're only getting 2 years of actual coverage that you're paying a 5 year premium for. And if you notice, most of the time the factory warranty HAS expired or as the letter states is GOING TO EXPIRE. The expiration date on the letter is nothing more than an expiration of when the OFFER expires. If you actually read it this is very clear information. Ive had claims paid by the company with no issues so please stop misinforming others when others have had a good experience with the service.

this number is for vehicle warranty service, but its a fraud. they start buy sending you flyers or calls about a car you own or once owned about no payment warranties but as for all your personal info. its a SCAM!!!! and do not give them anything. That's why on the flyer all they give is a number not a business name or any other identifying information.

Florida DMV sells your personal information to scammers.   I registered my car with my new Florida address recently and suddenly I start getting these scam warranty junk mail.   No organization other than the DMV knows the make/model of my car and my new address.   Personally I think a class action lawsuit is called form.

VERIFIED FRAUDS.  They use the name "Repair Defense Network,"  but scam people into thinking their warranty on their car has expired.  Even if it is true that your warranty has expired, you can still buy an extended warranty from your dealer.  These frauds will place a deadline (known in telemarketing as a sharp-angle sales close) to pressure you to buy by a certain date. Then, they will "transfer" you to an authorization department, miracle! You are approved!  They transfer you back and quickly elicit your credit card or debit card information.

I have heard from a Honda dealer that they tried to scam her days after she had purchased a new vehicle with a full warranty.

Bottom Line:  These frauds are good at what they do and have the potential to do damage to your credit very quickly.

Third piece of mail with this phone number about the "factory warranty" expiring; came out here to see if they were actually even affiliated with manufacturer.  Obviously not; wanted to share for others.

Got this number in a "Extended Warranty" unsolicited mail with no company name. It was labeled "FINAL ATTEMPT" -  "REQUEST FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION - TIME SENSITIVE MATERIAL" - "WARNING: $2,000 FINE, 5 YEARS IMPRISONMENT, OR BOTH FOR ANY PERSON INTERFERING OR OBTRUCTING WITH DELIVERY OF THIS LETTER U.S. MAIL TIT 18 U.S. CODE"
I called the number and got a recording, but still NO company name. Sounds like attempted fraud to me!
