According to Blue Cross customer service this is a legitimate telephone number for their Health Plan Advisors department.  I was told that rates are going up.  Blue Cross is contacting members to encourage them to consider different health plans.

i called it.  its an annoying automated menu that eventually gets u to be able to hear more about free screenings that are non deductible or some healthy check program.  i hit 3 and it ended.  bah!

I got the same message telling me to call that number and enter a code for "important info"...looks like a scam to me, too. I didn't want to call the number back.

Got a call, left a message on the machine to call Blue cross about important information about my plan? left an extension number to call.  Is this a scam?
