They WILL NOT STOP CALL!!!  ALL hours, 7 days a week, including holidays...but their favorite time is early in the morning on weekends or around dinner in Sundays!!!  They called my home twice ON EASTER SUNDAY!!!  The earliest call ever was at 8:10My numbers are all on DNCL and I have asked them to stop calling and remove me from their call list BUT THEY NEVER FOLLOW MY DEMANDS TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR CALL LIST!!! I have had to unplug my phone so these people don't wake up my whole household in the morning or after 9:30 when people are going to bed!!!  Today I finally had it after three calls by 1pm on Saturday!!!  

I don't care who they are and what worthwhile charity they are raising $$ for; I'm not donating to anyone who calls me.  These are unwanted!  Blocking.

Saw the caller ID -- didn't answer it.  We give clothing to the Veterans -- guess the Big Brothers Big Sisters got our number.  Sorry guys - don't call me, I'll call you (never).

If you work there, please tell them not to bother people all the time.

And i would like to know why they never leave messages,and they do not respect phone numbers that are registred in the
Do Not Call Registry.I donate before, several times, but if the calls don't stop, i stop (Not donating).
Besides that,i receive a card in the mail every other other month,asking to call for a free home pick-up.
But my main point is THEY DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO BOTHER PEOPLE.Period.

One Big brothers or sisters is located in Massachusetts somewhere. I wouldn't be bothered donating over the phone. They just hung up before even saying hello.

My phone has rung several times today with no message left. I finally got to it in time to answer and no one was there. When I hit *69, it said the number was "Out of order." I'm reading here that it is BBBS. Extremely annoying, especially as I have a sick, elderly family member in the hospital and his relatives sometimes call my house phone instead of my cell so I'm always concerned it's them. If they think this is a way to drum up donations, it certainly won't work with me. I already get their huge postcards asking for clothing donations. I believe in good causes, but I also believe in the right to peace and quiet and lack of harrassment when I'm in my own home.

It's legit.  Looking for donations of clothing, etc...

If you want to give to Big Brothers and Sisters, open up the phone book, get their number and give them a call.  find out where they do business and drive over there to meet them.  Otherwise avoid these calls or find yourself in trouble.  OK?

Big Brother and Sisters calls are also a scam.  They are trying to find out if you are home or not.  Then they will break into your home and take what they want.

These people are a bunch if idiots, I have never done business with them they call 3-4 x's a day don't leave messages and when I call back it says our office is closed, PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP!!!!!!!!

Left no message. If it really is Big Brothers/ Big Sisters, there is a bin on the grounds of our church in Woodbridge, CT run by St Pauly Textile (not the beer company) that we donate to. But it seems strange reading the posts by others that if one were to answer when this number calls that there would be no one there. Are they trying to get people's schedules so they can come when no one's home?

I have received several calls from this number and am surprised that it is the Big Brother, Big Sister organization. The calls are an annoying nuisance and I will not be donating to this organization again.

They are just fishing for information. You can only do big brothers and sisters locally. Why don't you send out some paperwork and stop annoying people with your 800 numbers. One ream of paper costs no more than $8.00.

This is so not true.  I have made donations to them several times.  They rock!!  Great organization.  Freindly drivers and the girls that schedule are so nice.

Big Brothers and Sisters is a con.  They call to get an appointment to case your house for further burglaries.
Get caller ID and do not answer.

These guys and all telemarketers will keep calling as long as they pad Obama and his crony's pockets with money to keep doing what they are doing. We need to get rid of them as much as the telemarketers.

I put in a baby PBX in my home and a special caller ID box at my folks. Only a dozen numbers are programmed into them to pass through. Screw the telemarketers! It's time we as Americans take our phones and this country back!

Money?  They do not look for money they are looking for clothes to help the kids in their program.  I donate monthly.

I would like to take a moment and clarify for you the call center process. In December of 2012 BBBS assumed control of all out bound calls( prior to that there was a third party conducting them for us ) as such I can assure you that no one receives more than 3 calls from us within 2 days and will not receive another call for 4 weeks. With the number of solicitors and organization calling these day's , and the similarity in telephone numbers, I know how it can seem  like the same number is calling.

Our Do Not Call list is updated daily to ensure that requests to be removed are honored.

I would very much like to confirm for you that your # has been removed. I can also provide the exact dates and times that we have called you if you would like.

These calls are getting so annoying. I have asked them repeatedly to stop calling me and they still call at least twice a week.  We really should be able to take action against them.

here's what i do,
after telling them that i'm sorry but i don't respond to charitys that call me at my home, and after asking repeatedly to be removed from their list (and told i would be)
when i see that it's them or a similar deal, i answer then put the phone on a table and go on with whatever i was doing. sometimes they talk for several minutes before they realise that no one is listening...
