Found this number on my caller id.

I received a text message about gift cards too. My phone number is on the National Do Not Call Registry. I filed a complaint.

Text message thanking me for visiting their website. Gift code 5433. $50 gift card. Phone number 877-399-7803. I have no clue what website I could have visited. Have deleted this text

I started receiving a text and never signed up for something.... Wish they would stop but every time I try to call to ask them to take me off they hang up on me.

If you legitimately WIN something - YOU DO NOT PAY TO HAVE IT MAILED TO YOU!  ITS ILLEGAL!

AS FOR THE MAGAZINE SCAM - telemarketers are supposed to tell you they are telemarkters selling magazine subscriptions BEFORE telling you won a gift card.  Its an illegal telemarkting ploy to violate the do not call laws

June 8, 2010. Received text message from 13302088690, thanking me for visiting their website (not spe cified) and telling me to call 877-399-7803 to claim my FREE $50 gift card.

6/7/10 received a text message from 216-394-5829 saying, "Thanks for visiting our website Call 877-399-7803."  I figured this was a scam and didn't want to call and then they have my number...that's the reason I googled this.  So much junk out there!

I got the same text and yes it is a scam! If you respond to you may be charged for the call just to sit on hold! I work in Finance and see this stuff ALLLL the time!! If you ever recieve a winning, ie:lottery, inheritance you are NOT responsible to pay shipping and handling or taxs. They usually aske you to wire them the money, ie: Western Union, because once you send the money and the reciever picks it up, you have no recourse and are out your money.  Unfortunately alot of people fall for this. Safest thing to do is ignore the calls, texts and emails you recieve. With no response they'll quit sending to you.

I just received a text from this company as well. I decided to call them, as I am sure it is a joke. I called from a work number, so they would not be able to verify my number. I think if you reply with stop, which is a way to verify your number. Which means you get put on a list of good numbers, meaning you will now get even more junk text?

So, anyway I called and was able to keep them on the phone for about 5 minutes. What I learned was they want to send you a 200 dollar gift voucher and a 50 dollar Target gift card. This is where they get tricky. They said all I have to do is to pay them 5.90 shipping and handling. I told them I would pay after I got the cards and verified them. To my surprise they said yes....but wait they aren?t finished yet. Now all they have to do is verify that I have a credit card, so I will be able to pay the 5.90. So, in the end they still want a credit card number from you!!!!!!

DO NOT DO IT!!!!!! SCAM!!!!!!!!!
