I got a text message yesterday from an unknown number about a job application being accepted I applied to.

Its a scam, got a text message after applying for a banquet sever position, I asked what company it was for, she stated they wished to remain confidential, I said I only give my info to the employer themselves. She hung up.

These "people" are scamming, do NOT give then any info.... I got a text this morning to..

I received a text message stating me to call the 877 #.. I googled the number to verify this number is a scam. If you are registered on the do not call list. You can file a complaint....

I received a text message saying I applied to a customer service position.  I'm not responding because I haven't applied to anything that would text me.

I got a text regarding my application from 877-401-5288 and then requested to call 424-832-4850 and when I called they immediately said is the "my name" and I got disconnected.  I called back and a different person said is this "my name" and wanted to know if I was available for a 5 to 10 min interview to go over my education and work experience to see if they would pass my application onto the hiring manager.  It was for a judicial clerk position and I never applied for a judicial clerk position.
