Calls all the time. Does not leave any message.

these are other numbers this people used 1-888-701-2878 and 877-400-0309 for their scam

I retract any earlier statements ...  after some research, I actually found out I still owed.  After a few months of dodging calls, my debt management place instructed me to pay the bill.  I rcvd my paid letter and am happy I can clear up my credit.   Its very easy to find out if you still owe your payday loan.  there is always a trail from the company you paid to the people who currently have your debt.  I asked for a verification of debt and received one -- paid and am done.

Clearly some scam. Called my work number and left a message with some name I never heard of.

The tip off is the inbound ANI which was 111-111-1111.

Thanks FCC - I wish they would instruct local exchanges to at least attempt to block this easily identifiable nonsense.

Yes, I even gave them some money, but they will not get any more.

i got the same call saying i owe for a payday loan that was payed for in 2009. they keep saying ill go to court if i dont pay the number there calling me with is 888-701 2878  and they say there nar group i looked them up on the internet and they also have another number 1877-403-1608 does anyone else receive calls?thenk-you

I got the same message with the good luck also. I called them back and it is supposedly for a payday loan back in 2008. So far I can pull up all my receipt's and info but they can't even seem to send me any kind of proof of remaining balance, they just give me a bunch of lame excuses. They also don't answer with a company name, just a "hello".

i got the same message. it sounded legit UNTIL she said good luck at the end and that prompted me to look them up. jeezus the scammers dont quit

Reporting a phone call from this number, don't know who they are.

Get calls from a Karen Hays first saying call this number by 5 oclock or I'll be on your doorstep with these legal papers that I've got here in my hand :  I call this number ( 877-403-1608 )  They have my ssn and a bad pay-day loan they say that I owe :  2 years ago I foolishly did a payday loan over the internet ...The crooks cleaned out my checking account  twice and I had to change accounts: the attorney I talked to said these folks were crooks ( du)  that had stole all this information from syber space and were preying on folks  with all this old info. trying to get bank account numbers so that they can clean out some more bank accounts: Take heed to these crooks and Don't Fall For Their Tricks !  They are too lazy to work at a real job...so they want your money and mine :  I've got news for them...I pay who I owe.... and if I can't pay who I owe..... I sure am not paying no lazy Bill Collector !
