If you read the fine print at the end of the postcard, you will read,"This notice should be disregarded if you do not currently have an in-force annuity contract." That is their out with the USPS.

I received a postcard, much like the one this ite has described. It may be there way around various "do not call" lists. I'll be using this site to track additional calls and cards. I seem to be getting a ton of them since I tuned 65. Then I plan to contact my state attourney general and post office.

my "call" was a postcard in my mailbox.
I got a post card addressed to the former, (diseased) resident here.  ",,, you may have an annunity that has reached the end of it's surrender period..."   Since I know the sister of the addressee I investigated the validity of this "come on" message.  Good thing... this has all the makings of a scam.  Back in the mail box it goes, I'm not going to upset her sister for these scammers.

Scare tactic in a postcard. I'll call them when non-speaking, unpaid pigs fly without the aid of an airplane!

No return address, no company name. They can take a flying leap off... well you know.

Whirrrr....that's the sound of my shredder.

Do not even call the number, there is no reason a legitimate, trustworthy company would have to resort to tactics like this.

they are just looking for valid contact info, either for them to use or to sell to the telemarketing shysters

I received postcard, no return address. no ID who sent it. "This communication is to inform you that you have an annuity that has reached the end of its surrender period....Please contact our scheduling department to discuss your options. (877) 403-6314"

I called the number. They wanted to verify my zip code, name and "current phone". I pressed them who they were. They said they were "Senior Services" or something like that.  I have no annuity so this is all suspect.  They wanted "current" phone vs number provided at time I took out annuity (altho I have no annuity).

This is ploy to get phone numbers for an insurance salesperson. This is a SCAM. Do not fall for it.

Got the postcard like everyone else, has my full name, says I may have an annuity that has reached the end of its surrender period.  Yeah, right!  No return address, nothing.  Just this phone number to call.  No thanks!

They're still at it as of today.  Same phone number - same vague details on the company name - wanted details about my expiring annuity - when they had no details about my annuities and continued to ask questions - I hung up.  Should have read this page first - would have saved some time.

I am in the financial business, I work for a CFP and my client just called stating that he received this post card, I called the company and this woman Donna answered like mentioned in the above post and I ripped her a new one.  They are a bunch of scammers.  Just so you all know what they do is they buy a list that shows what clients own Annuities and then they do a mass mailing and of course a majority of these owners of these annuities are older and might not realize.  Thank God our client had enough sense to call us to check.  I will be reporting this company.  This is not right and I will do whatever I can to make sure they can no longer do this to people.

I had the same experience as others.  No phone call.   Instead I received a postcard, saying an annuity had reached the end of it's surrender period.  When I called they were evasive.  I have no such annuity.  They would not give me any information about why they contacted me.  I had to ask several times for the name of their company and was told it's "Senior Services". This is obviously a marketing scam.

Same as the others above. Got a postcard that said my 'annunity' was expiring. Do not have such so checked this internet site and it confirms this is a scam to entice you to have an insurance agent call upon you. Your 'cooperation' might well equal a solicitation to the agent and de facto 'permission' for him/her to pester you. BULL!

I threw away the post card after reading others experience.

On the bright side since the USPS is going to stop Sat mail deliveries we won't be getting any on Sat-Sun and on holiday Monday's.  As others have said since they can't reach us by phone they are trying to bait us by mail. Just in case any companies read these. Please enough of the phone calls and junk mail. Your phone numbers are being added to "JUNK" phone numbers list. That way don't have to answer your calls. Am so glad to have a shreader and add you "JUNK MAIL" to the trash pickup. At least eventually it will decompose and hopefully restore some of our planet being destroyed for paper to produce junk mail.

Ditto the postcard:  "Received a postcard mentioning "possible holder of an in-force annuity contract" and to call (877) 403-6314."  Don't think I'll call - sounds like they are trying to get me to meet an insurance agent who'll try to sell me stuff.  I would expect them to ask for my SSAN or something.

Received a postcard mentioning "possible holder of an in-force annuity contract" and to call (877) 403-6314. The name on the card gave the first letter of my first name followed by my last name. Since my wife's first name also begins with the same letter as mine, I called the 877 number and a lady answered, not giving the name of any company, and asked if she coiuld help me. I mentioned the card and asked who the card was meant for, my wife or myself. After a few questions she determined it was me. When I asked for specifics about the annuity she knew nothing. I asked another question and again she knew nothing, so I hung up. I then Googled the phone number and found this page with references to my same experience. I think this is likely a telemarking scam.

I got two postcards. Guess since we aren't answering the phone they are trying another ploy.
No ID, No phone back. Twits. Don't they think that we will deal with our own local reputable agents.
More fuel for the fire or more land fill. Really who falls for this unidentified tactic?-
I think I'm going to report this as mail fraud. The post card doesn't even have a return address.
While they may have an OH mailing permit, why would I, not living in their state, want to deal with them?
