Well if you all were waiting on me to post that the server showed up yesterday, let me disappoint you or excite you and letting you know that he never showed.....these guys are so full of themselves... Sad thing is they did not want to hear what I had to say when I returned their call other than to tell me how they were going to embarrass me when they showed up at my job or home.

Neither happened so when these guys call you, request that they stop calling and to rather send letters to your home.

Call on 2-21-2012 to both my office and my husband's cell phone from Bella. Left the number of 877-407-7573 indicating papers would be served on 2/23. Her message ended with "You have officially notified".
I answered (blocked) call just now - again Bella - who said she was hired by RPS to follow up on this matter, and she had it scheduled for service w/in four hours. I asked her for a fax number and address to which she replied she would not give either out but she repeated the 877 number for any contact. And then, she very "professionally" hung up on me.
I'm sending a notice to RPS 1)asking for documentation and 2)requesting that they not contact us by any means other than US Mail.  Because we don't have any debt, I'm not sure where they got our information but really don't appreciate their tactics.

Well today is the day I am supposed to be served.  I just received a call from a Private Number, this Micheal guy of course stating that I would be served within the next 3 hrs!  I am biting my nails - NOT!  First of all, I called the 877 number they gave me to call and the oddest thing, they all end their statements with "Best of Luck to You"  the collector as did the process server...something tells me these guys are brothers or cousins....how big of a coincidence is it that they say the same phrases?  Either way, I will update tomorrow on what happens today.  And I agree with KD - they do not identify themselves as a company attempting to collect a debt.

Update....the Sheriff showing up was a coincidence is was actually for something else!  My caller, I think his name was James, never showed up at my residence OR place of employment.....Even the Sheriff agreed that they don't call to let you know they are going to serve you with something, that defeats the purpose.....just wanted to let everyone know that and This "James" will be getting a call from my attorney for violating the FDCA since he not once identified that the call was to collect a debt and for the fact that he contacted my Father-in-law with the same message that he was going to serve me with papers....

Did any of you get a sheriff or anyone to show up at your house?  Today was the day the guy said he would be out to "serve" me papers and there was actually a Sheriff that showed up!  They left a number to call in the morning so I am not sure if it is coincidence or what but i will find out tomorrow when i call.  I was getting the same messages about being served and when i did call the number back it was Recovery Process Systems.  If they are a bill collector, how am i the only one that actually got served?  I'm hoping it was coincidence or for someone that doesnt even live here.

I got the same thing.... They are going to serve me at my place of business.. The only thing is I work offshore and if you try and get on the dock without proper ID you will be arrested... Oh i hope they show up because I would just laugh for the longest time... And the crazy thing is that i owe no debt to anyone... Hmmmmm... You would think that they wouldnt call so many eople especially when someone calls you like that and dont think that the person they are harassing isnt going to check the number on the internet before calling back.... What a bunch of low life idiots.... Heck i am laughing now......

Send them a letter VIA certified mail with return receipt requested specifically instructing them your employer does not allow these calls.

I received a call from  Micheal Ryder stating that he would be at my place of business or residence on Feb 23 ro serve me a litigation that is pending in court for me and advised that I call 877-407-7573 to prevent him from coming to either location on the 23rd.  He also referenced a case/file number then called my cellphone stating the same thing.  Who do I call to stop them from calling my place of employment?

i also recieved a call from this number on thurs.... it was a from a private number .. left a nasty voice on my phone.... they  referred me to a 18774077573. i spoke with a young lady named amada ext 108. amanda is a very nice young lady in the wrong line of work...said i had a loan from a company from loan oit usa from back in 2008... we never had a loan back then... she has most of my info .. also said that a server was being sent out.. will  keep all posted

I also had a call from a woman named Ashley and I am in TX.  She warned that if I didnt call the number she gave me and use the id then they would serve me.

Same messages left on my cell voice mail. They have also called my mom and my ex-in laws. After reading all of the posts I've decided not to call them back. There is another number they use for a call back and there are a lot of posts about this company. That number is 855-502-7963. Apparently this is a tactic they use all the time. They are supposed to "serve" me today. I'll update tomorrow but I am positive they aren't going to warn me that I'm being served. I also have no idea what this is about since I am current with all of my bills on everything.

Well it's almost 7pm on 2/15/12 and so far, no one has served me. Just thought I'd update.

They called me the other day and told me I would be served at work or home today if I didn't call the number back. I did call and they said it was about a debt that I opened on August 31, 2005. They wanted to settle it and gave me 3 options and I was supposed to call back by end of business with the option I would choose. Well after I thought about it, I never opened the debt on that day (believe me, I know it wasn't that day because I wasn't living where they said I was at the time). I have not called them back. They called yesterday to remind me that I would be served today. I think they called again today but I didn't answer. So far, nothing, but I guess the day is still young. I do think it's just a scare tactic and that nobody will be serving me. I have never heard of them calling to warn you that you will be served.

I just got the same thing but this person called my brother asking for me thing is he lives in CA and i live in KS. They left a message saying i was gonna be served on 2/16 and that i had better be home. My brother calls me freaking out about this and tells me what was said. I couldnt place why i would be served so i looked it up and saw all of this. This is just plain out crazy.

She just called and left me a message to remind me that she will be out at my residence or work tomorrow...hopefully it's just a scare tactic and I won't be greeted by her especially at work tomorrow, but I'll update tomorrow or the next day. She used my maiden and married name this time as well. And she left a message on my husband's voice mail yesterday. He is the one who found this site to show me. Who do we report them to?

I am in AZ and oosted earkier about rcvg a call from a Robert Millburn. He said I would be served tomorrow. After what I read I now know this a scare tactic by a collection agency. I WONT be calling AND I will report them. You should too.

Yes, they are trying to make money off of old debts that have already been settled!  They try to intimidate and scare people into giving them money that is NOT due to them. Do not give them any personal information, just IGNORE them!  Do not be scammed!!!

I am in Pennsylvania and they called from a private number and told left me a message that I would be served on 2/15/12...I did call back. They wanted to set up payment arrangements. I'm supposed to call back with which of the 3 options they gave me, that I would be agreeing to by the end of business today. After reading this, I won't be calling back and kind of wish I would have never called in the first place.

-I also received a call from a "Private" number "warning" that I am going to be served and that I need to call 877-407-7573 with a claim #. He reported that his name was Robert Millburn and he would be serving me on 2/15 regarding "impending litigation" that was scheduled to be filed against me. ??? My Father is an Attorney and we have never ever encountered a process server calling to schedule or warn of their visit. Strange. I am curious to know what happened with the rest of you so that I can plan how to approach this.

Restricted calls to my cell phone, and private calls my house phone with messages from a man by the name of Robert Millburne stating that he is officially notifying me that I am being served for litigation. He stated that I need to call 877-407-7573 with a case number to avoid him coming to my home to serve me on 2/10/12. He called again this morning to "remind" me that today is the day he will be serving me. I will wait to see what happens, but from reading posts on other web sites, he is also going to be in GA, PA and other states to serve other people. He must be freakin' Superman if he can get around like that!!! I have never in my life heard of a process server calling to "warn" someone that they would be showing up to serve them! Hope I see him today!!!!!

This phone# 877-407-7573 called leaving a message for someone who has never lived here. Stating a pending court case and appearance scheduled to 2/1/12 for the person in question needed to be in court.It was allegedly filed under Claim#112904. When I called the number I was put on hold twice. At the point I was about to hang up { I give such calls a 3 min.limit as to me holding}. Twice I was asked "May I help you". They claimed that they would drop my phone# after I told them the person in question has NEVER lived @ this address.
