I get calls constantly from these people.  They are offering mortgage refinance or loan modification.  All they do is to submit paperwork for a program at your mortgage company that you can do yourself.  They want a lot of money to do it.  The mortgage company requires all of your financial information to apply for morgage assistance.  Giving this information to a third party is a bad idea, especially when there is no way to know what else they do with it.  Do yourself a favor.  Call you mortgage company and ask for the 2 page form and fill it out yourself.

Whatever you do, DON'T contact these people for anything (much less a Loan Modification).  I have been been dealing with them for over a year now.  They took $1400 and didn't do a damn thing.  Now the AZ and MN Attorney General's Office is suiing them for full restitution of the THOUSANDS of people they took money from, and made promises they couldn't make.  Don't believe me?  Just do a google search for Discount Mortgage Relief.  You can also visit their "F" on the BBB, read the articles of the state and feds being after them, or visit "Complaintboard.com" or "Ripoffreport.com".  These people are nothing but crooks and lesson learned here, but just passing on some hopefully helpful info so you don't fall into the same crap I, and many other people, have.

They took my money and didnt do any thing for it they almost made me loose my house. I have been trying to get my 2095.00 dollars that the took from me .but I have been calling that number and it said not in service. I wish someone would let me know how to take care of this matter please .I cannot stand crooks that are a bunch of liers and cheat . i dont know how these people can sleep at night taking money from people and pretending that they are out to help you We all should be able to get our money back for this was a fraud and i would have to pay for alawyer to get my money back and i can not afford that because the took 2095.00 from me and my husband almost had a heart attack over all of this . I always say what goes around comes around and I wish all the bad luck on them.

How do we know if we are getting our money back they got 2095.00 dollars from me that was all my savings and I cannot afford a lawyer and I dont know what to do to get my money back tell me how you are doing it please. The Attorney General's Office is now suing them for restitution of each person, $10,000 for each crime committed, and reimbursement of the AZ Attorney Generals prosecution costs.  They took money from me and thousands of other people.  I have filed with EVERY organization I can think of and have several complaints on boards and forums on the internet.  Just Google Discount Mortgage Relief.  You can also look at all their complaints on Complaintsboard.com  or Ripoffreport.com.  You can see mine and some helpful info under Jaspurr28.  It has been about a year now since I filed with the AG.  I talked to them yesterday and the prosecution is still going strong.  They were raided in April 2010 and prosecuted in June 2010.  You might not be able to get a hold of anyone as the business is not functioning, and is dealing with their "hopeful" conviction.  I dealt with Tiffany Patton.  She is one I hold responsible for some lies and deceit, and Helaine Cohen - another one I know is responsible for more lies and deceit.  The ultimate con artists of the company handing this down to everyone is John Common and Bruce Spurlock.  The smart employees that knew this company was unethical, quit when they found out.  I hope the rest are prosecuted along with the two main idiots that started this whole mess.

They took our money too, and now we can't get through to this phone number. It says this number has not been assigned.

Discount mortgage took $1300.00 of my money for doing nothing and have refused to refund any of it....stay away from DMR or you will be sorry!

I have been dealing with this company since 10/30/2009.  Do not use this company for anything!  They will take your money.  Once the company has your money, you are unable to get a hold of anyone.

I contact this company in hopes of getting morgage relief from a third party. I had become fustrated with my morgage lender in efforts to work things out with home modification. This company talks good took my information. However there is a catch "fees"- 3,400 dollars and we can negociate for you as a third party with your morgage company. Wow!! This is ovbiously not what I expected. I did not give ya or nay but I did not call again. They WIIL NOT STOP CALLING NOW! It is not a deal this is hell!! I need them to stop with the call tring to get me to pay 900 dollars to get starded promising to get me a standard relief (lower interest rates and lower principle balance. I am not paying for this service because this counseling is offered feer through HOPE allowance. Please stop bugging me please!!!

I actually called them from an 800 -353-8705 number I saw on TV.  Said on commercial that Obama new loan modification for those who owe more than house is worth can be re financed.  They take tons of info and offer you 2-4% guranteed.  They said they have a red, white and a blue payment plan for their prepaid legal services in ensure you get some of the money before it runs out at a grand ole fee of $4000

They want $4K for prepaid legal aid to assist in getting money for the new loan remodification if you owe more on your home than it is worth.   Hang Up/  Block them.  They will NOT give up.   You can get the assistance from HUD free.

This company called me on my cell from a number 480-612-0777. Identified himself as Sasha Lawrence from Debt Relief and said his co number was 877-409-2246 ext 1192.  He was nervous and asked me a lot of personal and financial info fishing for my Tax records, Bank ID, funds on hand, Credit Card balances, etc.  This person and their criminal partners need to be prosecuted and jailed!!!!!  They prey on people who are about to lose their homes.  Carpetbaging SOB's
