Debt collector for who because I have received phone calls from this number and do not have an account in collections!!!!

Here's one for ya. I have two phone lines, one business which is only 2 months old and one personal (4 years old). The first call at 8:00 am asked for a person, I told them that they had the wrong number and they said sorry and hung up. Minutes later my personal line rings. Meanwhile I realize that the person that they asked for is my ex-husband's wife. The second line rings and they ask for her again. I explain to them that this is not her but it is my ex's wife and I haven't spoken to either in over 20 years. They said sorry and hung up. Sounds as if I'm going to have to deal with this for awhile.

I think all the Wells Fargo new hires call from this number. All you need is a balance on an account, whether the payment is up to date or not, you will be called usually by someone trying to sell you some kind of consolidation plan! Understand, as long as you have a balance on an account, they can call you and it is not considered harrassment!! Solution: pay them off or don't answer the phone!!

i got a call from them yesterday they used a previos married name that is 22 years old

I just called the and was transferred to a person named Mary who has assured me she will be taking my number off their call list..I am giving them a couple of days..My next step is reporting to Texas State Attorney..

They are calling me daily leaving debt collecting messages intended for other people. I don't know how my phone number is associated with the people they are trying to track down.

yep,he keeps bothering me too.. I simply do not answer - ever..and delete the missed call -- only 2 people have this number as it is truly for emergencies only..easy for me to know - anyone else is a spam call..

I called back to the 1-877 number because I to was getting these calls at work. I actually got a hold of an agent so, so they called them. I asked where I was calling and he gave me a very long business name. Turns out its a third party collections agency. Why they were calling here? I don't know. They asked for someone who doesn't even work here.

My MIL received a call from them today from a Phil Watts. Asked for my BF he hasn't lived with his mother in 6 yr.'s it's funny that they have such an old number on file..

receive at least 2 calls an hour with a recorded message finally. most of the time no message to call alliance one. I have no idea who this is or why they are trying to collect a debt. Want the calls to stop.I'm about to loose my job, they call so many times.

these jerks have been calling for weeks but i didnt answer the first time (cause i didnt recognize the #) but i thought maybe it was some long-lost friend or something.. however, long-lost 'anyones' would probably leave a msg.. theyve called every day since and not once have i received a message. maybe i'll forward their # right back to them.. :)

These people call my house 8 times a day, never leaves a message, and the last time I spoke w/ someone they kept insisting that I take a message for someone that does not live here. I told her if it is important, they need to send a letter in writing. I'm going to call them 10 times a day and ask for someone that doesn't work there and insist on leaving a message.

Thanks for the info. I was going through my caller ID and saw this number and have been getting unwanted phone calls. Good to know this is one I can gladly block.

I have received over 10 calls from this number at 8am on Saturday and Monday morning looking from someone not even here. I called them and asked them to stop and they say it could continue to call. I said that was unexceptable and they said to "cry" to someone else. Kevin was the very unprofessional CSR at ERS.

The number belongs to West Asset Management. They always leave an automated recording when they call and it gets stinking. I found their customer service number: 1. Maybe they don't want to waste their time with calling someone who they don't know who won't explain the nature of their call. Maybe you don't mind returning vague, random calls, but that doesn't make you brave - stupid maybe, but not brave.

Ok, this guy has now called my number 3 days in a row. I have told him over and over that the person he is looking for is not at this number..and asked him to quit calling. Then he started naming off MY neighbors!! And one of them has been dead for 3 yrs..how are they getting this info?? I plan on contacting The Better Buisness Bureau tomorrow.

I got a call from 1. i believe it is a debt collector because debt collectors call looking for this person from other companies as well. the person are asking about had my phone number before me and the collectors call between 4-11 times a week looking for this person. i was told by a gov't credit bureau, who number i got from one debt collector company, there is nothing i can do about it (just hang up when they call). but if enough people complane, an investigation may take place. I can't find that number or i would give it out.

Someone called my house phone and asked for me. I tried to call it back but it had been disconnected or no longer in service..Who is this?

I just recently started getting phone calls from this number on my cell phone. I live in Vegas, but my cell phone number has a California area code. I haven't been to any hosptial in years, and I don't owe any hospital bills. I've never been to Ohio either. After reading this blog I'm afraid to answer the call..I wonder if some weird charge will show up on my cell bill.

I got a phone call this morning from. The lady said we were late on our morgage payment and I told her no we weren't. She asked for my husband and I told her he wasn't available. I asked who she was and she told me she was very sorry and hung up. She also asked if our house was paid for. I hung up on her. These people need to be stopped from harassing homeowners. Thanks.
