this number keeps calling my friends and family asking for information about me. he said he was a civil investigator from the DA's office. he said his name was a mr. rodriguez. im not sure what he wants but he knows where ive been and who ive been with.

This same number called my family member and left a message saying if I did not return their call within 24 hours they were issuing a warrant for my arrest.

I got a call from this number on a msg phone I used over 7 years ago.  They left a case number and a name...not sure what's going on?

I spoke with this lady named Ms. Jimenez and she is making me pay $888.00  by thursday and if not, i have to go down orange county court and she said from there they will make me pay the amount said. and if not i guess she's saying i go to jail! So i called bank of america (my account with them was closed a year ago), the rep said they're not affiliated with any debt collecting agency because they have their own recovery management department. and the rep said, this 877 number could be a third party s**t. The rep asked me for the debt collector's agency name.. so i called the 877 number again and this mean f*** was yelling at me over the phone saying they are the US Civil Rights! So i went to a website called westopdebtcollectors.com, had an online chat with a representative, and she said she's unable to help me because the 877 number is a debt collector scam and advised me to report this scam to my local police station.

I have always tried paying my bills on time. And found out that this was something that I and my wife let slip through the cracks. It was a simple process. I wasn't harassed or anything. It was actually quite professional. They provided me the information that was needed and options to resolve it. I take our credit and our financial situation very seriously and work very hard to maintain it. If I owe something, I just make sure to pay it. If we come to a situation that we miscalculated and can not afford to repay it on the terms agreed upon, I have found that communicating it is teh best answer to resolve it. At the end of the day, it doesn't effect them in any way. It will only effect me and my family.

this is a scam they treaten you. Use scare tatics for an old debt. Very rude. DOn't call from your cell phone they do a reverse trace and call u back. Annoying

Me too. The caller told me that his name is Mr. Rodriguez and he told me that he was looking for a man named Salazar. Mr. Rodriguez asked me to ask Mr. Salazar to call Mr. Rodriguez and for Salazar to mention Case # 2008756.

Stop Harassing American Citizens

I just got the same call from Mr. Rodriguez today as well. He must be busy !!!! He was looking for my brother. He said he is being charged with fraud.

My mom has gotten a call from this number looking for me & they wont give her any info, she has a new number & I havent lived there in almost 10 yrs!! It is an old debt more than likely that they are trying to restart the seven year collections process I would tell them to stop calling and check your credit report & see if its an old debt getting ready to fall off.
