Too many calls on mt cel phone..Who are these idiots?

Discover Cards

Received a total of 12 calls from 877-437-8620, 866-290-7821, and unknown caller in the last week.  This is Discover Card according to a look up.  I don't even have a Discover Card.  One more call, and I will report them to the Attorney General's office.  Congress need to crack down on these type of harassing calls. The "do not call list" doesn't seem to be helping.  And another thing, any politician that calls me, especially with an automated call, will NOT get my vote.

This is Discover?!?  They need to leave their home phone numbers and I'll start calling them!!!

I logged in to my Discover account and put my contact number as 8774378620.   Let's see if they can seel themselves on credit protection!

BLOCK all calls from this number. Get a phone with CALL BLOCKING options. Mine is a cordless phone. I never answer calls from toll-free numbers--just let them go to voicemail. If they never leave a message and the number never matches any of the numbers on bills, I just block them. This number apparently called several times a day according to my phone log. They never leave a message. (Must not be important. And they'll even interrupt dinner time. BLOCKED!)

After repeated calls from this number without the courtesy of a message to say what they're continually calling about, I just hit the BLOCK NUMBER option on my phone. They'll just get a busy signal. And I get to continue eating dinner with my family in peace.

WOW you guys have actually talked to a live person....  I have started to answer their calls in hopes to put a stop to their endless phone calls and find out who the heck has a Discover card that this deal is so dang important and tell them to stop calling...  So when they do call I answer and then NOTHING.  Call ends...  This is getting toooooo OLD!!!  Ugh....  

And I have tried to call back and talk to an Account manager and the phone just rang and rang and rang........

Do not f****ng call my number you a** holes... you are burning up my f****ng phone and with caller ID i do not answer... STUPID.........

I recieve a call from this number 877-437-8620. first time they call it said out of the area, and the second time they call it said toll free call. Seems strange to me for the same number to say this. Be Careful.

1-877-437-8620 call my home phone serveral time every day, very noiy, especially when child sleep, how can I block this call?

I would suggest that anyone being harrassed by this company do so. I have just submitted my complaint now.

They call at least twice daily, and never leave a message. I never answer because I am suspicious of toll-free callers. I called them back and got ?Thank you for calling Discover Card? and then I hung up. I?m on the US DNC registry and I?ve never done business with Discover Card nor any of their affiliates, so they have no right to call me. I?m going to answer them the next time and scold them.

Just as I answered the phone, they hung up.  So, I went on line to try to find out who was calling.  From the entries on this site, I guess it was Discover.  I do have a Discover card and they do call with offers.

they call almost everyday no message left.  It is from a person at Discover Card when I look up the #.  I am on a do not call list why can they still call!

I think we should all log on to their online live chat support and try selling them things that we have laying around the house and don't want anymore.  See how they like it when we solicit to them and waste their time and resources.   Or call 1-800-Discover to do the same.  They pay for the phone call, they see your number...so in time they will get annoyed enough to stop calling you when the cost to support us outweighs the benefit they are receiving from those who buy their crap.

i say we all get together and sue.  this is annoying.

Seems like a solicitation of some sort.  Not sure who in the house has a discover card if that's the caller. I use bank of America and Visa
Picked up a few times never was any response..  We just ignore the number now.
Called 12 times in the last 7 days, and has been calling for about a month.  Rather aggressive for not wanting to have a chat.

It seems quarterly, Discover card calls with promotional offers.  Unfortunately, they call and call and call until they get the card holder.  One day alone, they called 8 times!  Today, when the lady asked when they could reach the card holder, I said, "Why? you guys never pay attention my response... a different rep will just call in a half an hour!"  She said she will note the time. Well, the calls did reduce to just 2 instead of  8.  So, the next call did come in, before the time I told them, and I did say, "I had specifically told the caller after 6"  the male rep said, "oh, I see the note at the end... sorry" and I just hung up.

After that no calls.

I have started to get repeated phone calls from this company. I don't answer the calls and they don't leave any messages.

My wife and I have received unwanted calls from Discover Card representatives who ask for someone with a different surname but with our telephone number, i.e.we answer and say "yes, that is my telephone number, but neither I nor anyone living here has that name." Then the "rep." asks for our post-mail address, becomes very aggressive and rude, and does not take "no" for an answer. It happens daily at around dinner time.

We assume that it is a telemarketer call.

We do not have any relationship with the company.

How old does this lady sound and does she talk really fast. She talked so fast that we could hardly hear what she said, just asked if 7:20 pm on Saturday night would be a good time for him? We also have a Discover card under my husbands name. I wasn't for sure what she meant or who this even was. Has this ever happened to you?

This number rang and some woman said my husband's name and then said "Chuck, Saturday night at 7:20 pm would be a good time for him". I didn't know if she meant a good time to call for him or what.

Is this is a credit card company and have they done this before to anyone???

They call several times a day. My daughter asked to take a message since I wasn't at home - the lady was very rude, refused to identify who she was with and hung up! I know it's Discover Card and I have a good mind to close my account with this company. If I wanted to hear about your new programs, I'd call and ask about them until I do just leave me alone!!!!  I never pay late and always pay off my balance in full when I get the statement.  I am so sorry I ever opened an account with them.
I feel sorry for those who are struggling to pay  even the minimum to this company - they must harass you hourly!
