This number just called my cell (for like the 1000th time).

@ dan johnson...no, they WILL NOT STOP calling...even if you ask them to stop.

This is a company that:
1. Asks for "Joe's Mom" (Joe is your child's name)
2. States they are working for "Joe's school" (Your Child's name and school).
3. Says that Joe has requested they contact me to help find colleges for Joe.
4. Says their "assistance program" costs $200 to use.
5. When I tell them that Joe wouldn't ask for information that would cost and if he did ask them to contact me....he would give them my name (not "Joe's Mom")....they stutter and back peddle all over themselves.
6. I ask them where they got my number because my child DOES NOT give out my number. They reply well then we must have gotten it from his school records....My cell # isn't on my child's school records.
7. I tell them that I am going to report them to my child's school as falsely representing them. They again, try to stop me from doing this and the panice and hang up.
8. I call the school and report them, their number, what information I did get from the caller. The school then passes this along to the District. The District report this company to the police and they take it from there.

I started getting calls 3-4 times a day a week ago they don't leave a message or speak when I answer. My son went into the army and never talked to a college.

I received a call from (877) 441-5786 about 25 minutes after I filled out an olive sweepstakes for college money. They are an "education" telemarketer selling school assistance. Told them they had the wrong # and to remove me.

People from this number keeps calling me asking for my son who is only 14 years old, once I tell them my son is not available to let me know what can I do for them, they don't want to talk to me. What are those people after? I don't know but what I do know is that I want them to stop bothering us, my son is a minor and they don't need to talk to him. Stop calling.

Get a Skype number or a Google Number; give them either number and then you can block them yourself.
Google and Skype both block spam.

No, they don't. I have been fighting with them to stop calling me. I am turning them in. They are idiots who have no respect for people's privacy- I am 2 weeks away from graduating from my college and have not made any calls or inquiries into more schooling. It's harassment plain and simple

True, this is who they are. Someone who lives with me started college. I picked up the phone today when they called. They told me they try to find colleges for people who want to go to college. I told them this person is going to college now and is not interested so please put me on your do not call list. I've gotten numerous phone calls from this number. One time a 10sec message was left but it was just music in the background. Very annoying

This caller does not leave a voice mail. I do not answer the call. I have to turn my phone off now because the call interrupts meetings. This is annoying.

This number calls in midmorning  I answer they hang up. they need to be stopped.

I just called it from a blocked # at work and the moment I said "Who is this?" they hung up.  No identity upon answering the phone except your phone call is very important to us.
