I recieved a call from a woman that goes by Melanie and she also stated she was from Independent processing and calling in regards to a legal matter and provided a case number and said the claimant was with the David Kelly and my attorney or I should contact them right away in order for them not to place a guilty charge on my behalf.  First off they called my husband and sister n laws cell phones , so that tells me someone skiptraced to get that info, because i use to do collections and that was my job, to locate people that dont want to be found.  Now the funny thing is my number is not only listed on my credit report but I googled myself and I was easy found if some legitimate company wanted to,  Now whats more crazy, I doubt seriously anyone is going to forwarn you of criminal intent, they would send a subpoena or a legal document to at least a last know address and so forth.  This reads scam all day long.    They number I was called from 1-888-317-1172.  Now of course there is no information available for this number or any info regarding this company on the website...buyer beware  do not fall victim to these people.

I received a call from these people as well. A woman called me saying she was from Independent Processing and gave me a docket number telling me that a complaint has been filed against me. I called back and got this guy who called himself Randall. He said I bounced a check from 4 or 5 years ago. I asked him for paperwork and first he said its past that point, that I should've had the money in my account when I promised to pay and then he said that its a criminal case so there is no paperwork. There's paperwork on everything, including criminal cases. I told him I'll wait for paperwork. He said he hoped its not too late when the sheriffs office calls me. I said fine and he hung up. 5 mins later I get a call and the caller ID showed it was from the county court information hotline, like the number you can get off of the information webpage but here's the thing, it was the same guy that called himself Randall!!! Same voice! Chewing gum both times and everything! I called him on it and he said whatever and hung up on me. Ya, I doubt someone calling from the county courthouse wouldn't say 'it's not the same guy, look at the number I'm calling from'. Most likely they wouldn't even know what I was talking about, and they certainly wouldn't have hung on me. This is such crap.

i recieved a call today from the same person. everytime they call and leave messages its from a different number. he said he was david kelly and a warrant will be issued for a payday loan back in 2005. i probably did take one out back then but the thing is somebody called a couple months ago saying they were for clr and associates and they wanted the same amount for the exact same loan in 2005 and i had paid these people. he told me that they were a fraud and did i want to pay or not. i think not lol. i called an attorney right after and she told me they both were frauds because they have never served me papers. so now i have to work on getting my money back. bottom line don't believe any of these people if you haven't recieved anything in writing and you can look on your credit report to see what went into collections and who you have to pay.

Here is an example of a Cease and Desist letter you can sent tot he company and under the fair credit reporting act they must follow through with their legal threats or  not contact you under federal law:

Same type of complaint here...This man Identity's himself as David Kelly again is not willing to provide address information or company name (yet he wants me to reveal my identity so he can provide info which he would not do last time...I believe they are the same ones that identified themselves as Swanson, Walker and associates...the gal that called me and said I needed to Contact David Kelly called herself Maria Ortiz (the number was restricted so I could not list it here) and said she worked for independent processing...the contact was regarding my being served...when I got Mr. Kelly (or whoever he said he was) on the phone at 877-455-6639...he claimed he was an arbitrator ...but there is another complaint I saw online where he claims to be an attorney...
This number is being investigated as well...I would contact the number and get mailing information or if they will not provide it along with company name go to your local attorney general office and file a complaint using the 877 number...Legitimate process servers have your name and address...they will not forewarn you to serve you...they will just show up at your house or work and serve you...this is call a subpoena for a court date...be it civil or to testify in criminal proceeding against someone else...not you  .....criminal charges by the way would result in an arrest...not a phone call...even in fraud cases.

I received the same type of call but the calll came from a number+1000000000 & left a message from Lydia Arm that a case been file agiainst my name and social criminal or civil would need for me or my attorney of record to call and resolve voluntary or plead no contest, would need to contact complaint firm of David Kelly ph#877-455-6639, which I felt was a scam,because I received a call from the same+1000000000 number 02/05/13 and was tell me my net spend m/c had been suspended because that was some suspious activty against it, I have no net spend master card. If this is a true debt why have I not received any type of correspondence in reference to this matter.

my mom called me to let me know they called her leaving the same (very detailed) message. i called it last night & hung up when i got the vm. guy just called me back & said i called him an hour ago. i told him that i called last night b/c someone left a message with my mom & he said if my mom wanted to get her facts straight, i should get a case number. I told him i had one but he didn't need to be a smart a$$. He told me that i was about to be served with a warrant and if i had any sense i wouldnt talk to him that way. He said he could have the county police department call me to verify this & i told him to go ahead (this entire call, he never even had my name or the case number that was left)....... the other number is 1-888-319-2298

I just received a call from them which went to vm.  Nice folks not.   They broke about every rule out there as far as they fair debt collection act.  Kind of strange that they would have to call from a blocked number and no information regarding a website or anything.  a real agency should have provide a letter and then wait five days before calling.  So if they are reading this please bring it your not real.  And if you are an attorney are you even allowed to practice in the states that your calling if your not that is a no no

They just called me as well. and they broke every fdca rule out there.  if they are reading this post bring it on.  A real agency would not do this.

I also recieved a call but they left the name Maria Orbitz. I tried to return the call but it was always busy-here is the interesting area. I traced the number and it is attached to Ring central-a voice mail cloud.
The number also has an id number 888898491 attached to it. Look up the web site www.ringcentral.com.
I contacted the customer care area. I explained the situation. I had an idenity theft and I had money taken out of my account and several charge cards put in my name so I do get concerned if something is cropping up from that or is it a scam. The gentleman I talked to was very nice. He said the number is a number but could not give me the name of the customer. I explained the whole problem and asked him to get a message to them. if it is a real call I need a number to call them back. I want the name and location of who they are so I can have my attorney run a check on them. The interesting thing that came out of this. was he asked me to call the number because when he called it was not busy. I called on my cell phone,they were on a land line and it was busy but did not show up on their log and the two calls from them to me did not show up on their log. Something is wrong with this. They said they would get back to me. Everyone should call and ask about this.

Me too folks who ever this is they're full of it. I had to file BK last year & this firm is just trying to scare people

I received the same above calls, unfortunately, I don't have a cell so the call went to my message #.  I know it's not legit because if someone wants to sue you, you get served in person with papers.

I received the same call, but the number came up as withheld. This Lydia Arm person left me a voice mail, said if I did not contact this attorney David Kelly that the criminal and or civil suit that is being filed against me will be considered a no contest against me. She also left a docket number and the phone number 877-455-6639. I contacted an attorney who says it is probably a solicitation to get a home address or other info.

I keep getting messages from this # saying that they need to hear from me or my attorney because someone it's is about to file criminal changes against me. The person says that her name is "Lydia" and that she's calling on behalf of the "firm of david kelly", however I am unable to find ANY information on this "law firm"
