This "debt collector" calls me repeatedly for other people (over 20 times thus far). I have called this "company" to inform them that I am not the person they seek and to avoid calling me in the future. It is quite odd that this company kept pushing for MY NAME, even though it is not necessary for this company to have my name before looking up the number I report as mine, finding the name of the person whose debt they are trying to collect, removing my number from said debtor's name, and stop calling me. Furthermore, I have a PRIVATE number for a reason. Be very careful, folks, with your personal info. You never know in whose hands it will wind up. Also, I have no debts.

This is a debt collector. I've had calls from them repeatedly, even after I called back and explained that I've had this phone number for 30 years and never heard of the person they are seeking to reach. All the operator can do is take your number and "promise" to remove it from their call list - but the operator also has no idea why making that request didn't work BEFORE. The name of the company is SRG (something like Strategic Recovery Group) and a google search reported an email address of info@srg-i.com. My next step is to find their location and file complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and the Federal Communications Commission about them. I'm on the Federal DO NO CALL List - which as nearly as I can figure out does no good at all.
