I got a call from 877 458 8013 saying it was Benjamin Art on xtn 0 and that I was a finalist for a SUV in a competition I had entered in the past year. In 48 hours I would know if I was a winner. Oddly the nubmer that came up on caller ID showed up as Vaughn Tommie 708 283 8646. I did call the number back and spoke to someone who said it was being run by Sunshine Promotions (ofcourse cant find any info online). They didnt ask me any information though and ofcourse I didnt provide any information. Im not clear what the purpose is. Do they validate you for a mailing list? etc.

Recorded message said I won something and to call back the 877 number but the caller id showed 708-283-8647.  Didn't call back.

I got a call from Tina Pratt about winning an SUV and to call back in 48 hours but the number to call back was 877-925-9171 ext 100

Also received a call from a Tina Pratt stating that she had good news about a contest we had signed up for. She never used my name either.She said we had won a new automobile and had 48 hours to call back 708-897-0018. When I called the number it asked for a code.  I normally don't call these back; however, I had just won a real gift card today. Thank you everyone for posting this. I was curious.

Received a call at 1:40pm from a Tina Pratt. She stated that she had good news about a contest we had signed up for. She never used my name - just started off with "Hello Folks, this is Tina Pratt from Gift Promotions" . We had won a new automobile and had 48 hours to call back 708-897-0018...lol! Nice try!! :)

Got a call at 9:30 a.m. Sunday from Tina Pratt or Prett on my answering machine. Tina saying they had good news about a contest we had signed up for. We had won a new automobile. We had 48 hours to call back 708-897-0018. I called and got switched to a voice mail with a male voice saying they were not available. I traced the call as best I could and found out the call is from Blue Island, Il. 60406. The owner of the phone number is VERONICA McCURDY and is listed as a residence. That's all.

Got a similar call from 708-897-0018 from Gift Promotions, Tina Prett. Said I won a car. I didn't call back.

I got the same message as many people. Saying I won a Lincoln Navigator or Ford Explorer SUV, and I was one of the finalists.  The message went on to say it would be in my best interest to call the 877-458-8013 (ext. 0) soon. Ben Hines was the name he gave. Caller ID was from Park Forest, ILL. phone # 708-679-3902     This is a great site.. I checked here first before giving this guy a call as I am always entering contests. We all have to keep others informed so we do not get scammed.

Rec'd a call (recording) said they had been trying to contact me. I had won a SUV. Caller Id #708-679-3910 Message said to call Dan Hines at 877-458-8013 ext 0. Sounded like a scam, tried to return call, was told to hold on, I hung up, didn't want to chance being charged for an international call.

Only got the last part of the message on my machine and called the number after 11am est, only to have it ring for 2 minutes with no answer. Perhaps the scam has been shut down?
The 877 number is registered to a global company dealing with computers

My office voice mail recorded a message from a man claiming to be Timothy Nash.  His message said calling about an entry form I submitted in a contest to win a Lincoln Navigator or Ford Explorer SUV, and I was one of the finalists.  The message went on to say it would be in my best interest to call the 877-458-8013 (ext. 0) soon.

Received 2 recorded calls from someone saying he was Timothy Nash and it would be in my best interest to call back within 48 hours because I was a finalist to win a Lincoln Navigator or Ford Explorer in a contest I'd entered.  The caller didn't say what contest it was.  The caller i.d. on both calls said "Dr. Heart Scan L" and the # that showed was 703-647-0421 the first time, and 703-647-0_50 (can't read the 3rd to last #) second time.  Both calls were recorded messages even though I happened to pick up on the 2nd call.  I could use a new car, but I won't call.  Thanks for the info!

I got MSG from Benjamin art at this number.  Same scam -- I'm a finalist in drawing for ford explored or navigator. Thx to this list I won't call back.

Checked internet for Lincoln Navigator scam and it came up as a SCAM for a time share company.  

Don't call the number.

Received call I won a contest and prize is a  Ford Explorer, call 877-458-8013. Never entered any contest. Caller left name Ben Ard.
Did not respond to the call at all.

I got the same call, he said i was 1 out of 29 who had a chance to win I would know in 48 hours, this soumds like a scam!!!!

Got a call saying I was a finalist in a cash drawing, which I never entered, and it was in my best interest to call back.  The person gave a name - Dan Heinz at ext 0.  Didnt call back.

I got a similar call saying that I'm a finalist to win a Ford Explorer, but I did not enter a contest as far as I know. I called today (12/28/09), and there was no answer.

Got the same call saying I won a Ford Explorer. Can they call if i'm on the do not call list? I just got a house phone number recently and they are already calling...Never entered any contest because I would have put my cell number.

Recorded message said I won something and to call back 877-458-8013 but the caller id showed 708-679-0259. I called the 877 number and it sounded like a scam.

Got call from this number stating my name had been selected to win an Explorer/Navigator.  Funny--never greeted me by name when he (Ben Ard) left the message!!  Also, the caller ID showed the call was from a Jacqueline Payne at 708-833-8824--not a match to the name and number left on my answering machine--so watch for it as well.  Obviously, a SCAM!

Same exact thing happened to me.  A SCAM FOR SURE

The scam artist said call this number "extension Zero"- which I bet will route you overseas (if it answered) for total rape somehow. I say find them and kill them.

I got a call from 1-877-458-8013 about the enter I submitted about winning the Explorer or Navigator. SHE said to call back and ask for ext 0 (Dan Hienz).  I called the number that called me "Special Promotions"  708-679-3905.

I got the same call.
Anyone know what we can do to stop this?

Call from Benjamin Ard, Ardz, Artz or Art with 'good news' that I was finalist to win a brand new Ford Explorer or Lincoln Navigator SUV.  Message received in voice mail from number (708) 283-7510, and callback number was 877-458-8013 x0.  Sure are a lot of finalists out there. Probably just trying to verify good phone numbers via call back. Oh well, guess mine goes unverified.

I recently recieved this same call.  Called back 'cause I was curious and no one answered.  Figured it was another scammer that got my name via some site I visited.  I also received a card stating the same...Now I am really wondering how and what they wanted to scam from us (all listed in this web site)?

This is the second phone callin two days from two different caller IDS:  708 283-9471 and 708 679 3905. I called back on the second caller ID. The message was that the number had been changed; I called several times and a woman's voice said, "Good bye" and hung up. Van Himes mesages on my machine was that it would be advantageous for me to get in touch with him immedaiately because I was a finalist in a contest that I had entered either for a Lincoln Navigator or a Ford SUV. The number that he left was 877-458-8013, ext. 0. The text on the 1st call was SPECIAL PROMO. The one today was MID MKTNG PROMO; I'm sorry this has to be a scam.I refuse to call the 800 number.
