Keep getting calls from sirius satellite radio....have told them I am not interested but that does not stop them from calling 2-3 times a day. They are with out a doubt the biggest bunch of jerks on the face of the earth. Who owns those SOB's anyway? Most telemarketing callers are usually polite and when you tell them you are not interested that is usually the end of itl....not these turkeys! They are calling from us from Georgetown,CO supposedly.

Those villainous, monetary vultures at Sirius have been given a stern warning to stop calling me yet they continue to harass me morning and evening. I have a 2011 Ford which came with a free trial for Sirius Radio. I didn't order my car I bought it off the lot and it came with the stupid satellite radio I NEVER listened to. I told Sirius in letter, in email and by phone that I do not want their service. They never once responded to my letters, and the phone calls were just a waste of time with those jerks trying to sell me their crap service even after I told them NO, NO NO! I should shell out my hard earned money to keep filthy, arrogant slobs like Howard Stern on the air?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? My next step will be a call to my lawyer and the police in what to do to stop this harassment. Sirius Radio  is a very sleazy operation. Just google Sirius Radio and you'll get page after page of complaints regarding the company.

Kept getting recorded messages about my trial period with my new GM car. I called and told them someone obviously gave them a wrong number as we have no new GM car. The guy promised to put me on the No Call List. We'll see. Mr. Lang? Sirius is trying to get in touch with you!

i still work for their telemarketing, and you're right.  it's not sirius's fault as much as the company they contract to make their calls (which due to my currnt employment will go unnamed, but smile while you Dial!)  BUT yes, ask for DNC, and verify the number when they ask.  It's all recorded, and though "we make every effort to take you off our calling list as quickly as possible, it may take a few weeks to ensure you number has been removed from all sales calling by Sirius Satellite Radio" and u might get another call, at least they can't deny that you are being harassed when it's investigated and the proof is there.  some people do renew on the phone and are happy we called, but I get a lot of angry people who tell me they have already declined, several times.  So simply ask for DNC, verify number, and if you want immediate removal, ask for a supervisor to immediately put you on the DNC list or you'll sue.  You'll be flagged as "Irate customer" and the supervising manager will quickly place you on the DNC list to prevent further agitiation him/herself right then and there.

hope that help the people who are annoyed.  but remember that the poor people calling you are doing their job and usually have no idea you have been called before, so don't berate them, u can still be as effective by being calm, polite, and doing/asking for the above mentioned without being a crazy bastage to the college kid, middle aged woman, old man, etc. that're just trying to get paid and actually help the people who really do want the service.  But yea, I agree we need to fix our systems to prevent this kinda BS.

PS: people get fired IMMEDIATLY if you ask for DNC or refuse to renew and they miscode the call for a callback.  So someone who may have called you previously and didn't disposition your DNC request is more likely than not no longer working there if it makes you feel better.

PPS: if you do want to renew it anyway, and they call, please do it on the phone!  its the same as the mail or online, but you're helping someone make commission and can ask question and they can even delay your payments for you or split them up into installments.  this is if you want it anyway, not if you don't obviously.  So help us help you, and know that Sirius isn't keeping all the money for your subscription to themselves if you renew by mail or online, and that you're helping out someone in the process for the same as it would cost you either way.  helps the economy?  at least I know it does for the the reps who get paid $9/hr to get yelled at all day if they don't make enough sales to make commission!

i personally have not been called by them...i found this site b/c i got a weird 228 number for months, found this awesome website, then i wondered if anyone had anything to say about sirius
hahaha of course you do, they suck
i actually used to work for them in telemarketing, i quit due to the dishonesty of their company.
they have 30 days to stop calling you (if you request DNC list) after that, you can sue them.
if you dont request the DNC list they will call you for up to 5 yrs.
and by law if you are placed on the DNC list they cannot contact you for 7 yrs
but please please, if they ask you to verify the phone number to NOT be called, do it b/c they can make it seem like you never ask for it to be placed.
i made hundreds of calls to people that have sold the car, totaled it, or canceled service long ago

they are crooks!!!! and for those of you who are still subscribing, GET THE AUTO RENEWAL TAKEN OFF!!!! or change your payment type to invoice
they will charge you a thousand times
and make sure you look into the new music royalty fee's it's BS for real.

i had alot of previous customers say they were joining  class action lawsuit, so if ya'll are interested i would suggest you look into

good luck to all of you.

I used to have Sirius radio in a vehicle that was totaled a few months ago. I called Sirius to cancel the service but I still get annoying calls from this number. They do not understand that the vechile was totaled and is now sitting in a junk yard so it is not humanly possible for me to subscribe to their service any longer.

I had cancelled my subscription.  Sirius calls repeatedly.  I have emailed the company three times asking that the calls stop.  Today I am also filing a complaint with the FTC.  Does anything get Sirius to stop>

Yeah, it's Sirius Radio. We let our service lapse and they keep calling. It's always automated and I just don't feel like sitting on the phone and trying to convince someone that I don't want to sign up for another year...NO MATTER WHAT "DEAL" THEY OFFER!!!
Are you Sirius?

Sirius was calling me under a different number, then I called them back and told them to stop.  They said they would put me on their no call list.  Now they are using a different number to call me.
