Several calls from this number.

I keep getting calls from 1-877-468-1851 talking about  bad check. I called this number and they answer by the name Schumann & Taylor. I need to know if they are a legitimate law firm.

I just received a call on the brand new number for my brand new cell phone.  Here's the message that was left on my voice mail:

This is <name> calling with the firm of Shumann and Taylor for <not my name>.  There is a pre-legal claim that is pending with our office.  You must contact my office on receipt of this message.   Failure to respond may result in further action to pursue.  The number to reach us is 1-877-468-1851.

The name of the person they are seeking is read by a machine - very electronic sounding.

I called back using my cell phone and told them I am not the person they are seeking,. They agreed to remove my number from whatever it is they're doing.

There was nothing in my conversation that indicated the nature of their business, but I suspect they are debt collectors.

Be careful... I was lied to and stolen from. I paid them $800.00, they didn't update the funds to the original creditor, and they disappeared. They represent as attorney collecting a debt in behalf of debt collector. They have all the info that the original creditor has on you and I don't understand how this fake person got my information.

Brooke Davis calls from number indicating that she wants to talk to my boss and if she is not available, then she wants to speak to my boss's boss. Very aggressive and rude.  Filed complaint with Federal Trade Commision.  if you get a call from her,let her know that the complaint on her have been filed and to cease calling you.

I have received calls from this number at my mothers house stating they are from the Shuman and Taylor law office attempting to collect a debt from me. Then I am called from someone from a different number which is 716 748 6339 and he says his name is Jason and that he is working with this company as well but wont give me any information as to what I owe.

They call and a recorded message says that they are from the Law Offices of Shuman and Taylor and then press a # to speak to a representative.
