I received a call from 425-673-1018 & 425-670-8405 claiming that the debt I owed was over $13,000 and that they would settle for $6,400 or the company that I owed this to would be filing a suit which they could not tell me the company that I owed this to.   They also stated that they sent me information in the mail and they did not.   They said that they would be filing this lawsuit in a county that is way far away from me and I never lived in that county.   They are a scam do not listen to them.

Unbeliveable these people have been calling for over a year, the first time they said that they were ICMR INC with Advanta National/Capitol One and said we had a debt owe of $10,000 plus but were willing to settle for $4,100. We called the lender and we know that that is BS. We have tried everything we can think of to get them to back off. Now it has been on Local television about this scam and they still insist that they are going to ruin our credit and everything else. Well we have followed the news and reported them to credit reporters, bank and FBI according to reports. Last time we talked to them they said go for it. We asked for legal documents showing that this is our debt (which we no is not) and they said legally they could not do this. What they asked for is showing that the Capitol one says that they do not sell their debts?

These people called my mom in Ohio looking for me. I live in NY. Left a message on her machine that someone left me property. I smelled a rat big time and found this blog. Thank goodness I didn't call these scam artists. They left the number (425) 670-8405. I reported them to the do not call registry for my poor mom. She is retired and doesn't need this sh** !

He wanted my deceased husband to call him about property or something like that.He's been dead for over a year and a half and, out of the blue, this harassing individual calls???? He wanted the date of death.

I've been getting calls and voice messages from this company for the past few months saying that they want to discuss a pending legal action against me in a county I have not lived in for over 12 years. They don't say what it's about and I have not called them back. They always speak in ominous tones and admonish me for not returning their calls. The number I have been getting calls from is 425-697-6040. Obviously the statute of limitations has run out on anything they claim is owed from 12 years ago, but I guess they count on us not knowing that.

The same people is now calling people in Texas.  File # TX0008R181061, inquiring on a dead relative.  The person calling name is Justin Smith, from ICM & R Inc.  He is calling from a 1-855-670-8405 and leaving a direct number 425-673-0980.  It is the lastest SCAM here in Texas.  The FBI - Texas location has been notified, on these calls coming into Texas.  Tell them to go monkey with a frog!

I have been getting calls from various numbers asking for Jason Alexander from debt collection agencies. I just got one from a 314-869-6872 local number. No matter how many times we say he does not live here, the calls keep coming. And we are on the do-not-call list.

how can we report him??

Jason or James Alexander (fake names) is a scam artist and theif.  He was fined by the WA State
Collection Agency Board for over $20k for illigitimate work and barred from doing collections in WA state.  He is working illegally, doesn't pay his licensing or taxes, and is bragging all the way to the bank with money he gets from scaring people into paying debts that are past statutes.  Please ignore any phone calls from this guy, he is all mouth with nothing to back it up.  AND PLEASE KEEP REPORTING HIM SO HE GETS CAUGHT !!!!!

I also received a call from "Jason Alexander". He was claiming I owe money on a credit card that I never remember having. He could not give me any information on the debt but did have my social security number. I also called my Attorney Generals office and Federal Trade Commision on this company.  I was very upset with my self however because I ALMOST gave my bank account information however he was going to call me back after he "spoke with his accounts receiveable" department. After hanging up I discovered this was a scam, I am so glad I checked and I hope noone else falls for this. These are the phone numbers they used when calling me their call back numbers were 360-863-3692 877-471-1603. The number he called from was 425-776-5938

I received the same call from them and knew I owed a vendor and made payment arrangements with them now that I am finish I went back and notice that they over took from my bank account and know they don't seem to return my calls back. I just received all a few hours ago from the same people concerning a debt that my wife supposedly had back in 1994. They threatened to file suit against us and seize properties as well for any funds owed. I just got off the phone with the Federal Trade Commission and filed a report against this company. First, the FTC stated that this exceeds the Statute of Limitations considering how old the debt is and debts this old are considered Time Barred Debts which can no longer be collected on. It is also against the law for them to state that they are going to seize any money or property. Apparently, after searching around, this is coming from a person called Randall Goins a.k.a James Alexander who buys old debts and attempts to collect on them. They actually called me from 360-863-3996.

Received message on answering machine from James Alexander 877-471-1603 stating they are filing a Personal Suit of Property against me.  For what I have no idea.  Can't really find any  info on this company

I received a call from someone identifying themselves as ICM & R Incorporated (investment capital management and recoveries Incorporated). They claimed that I had an outstanding credit card debt with GE capital consumer card of $3530.17. Over the phone they said that I had received documents in the mail , which I had not, and that I had a court date of March 29, which was also, like everything else above totally untrue. Then through the e-mail they sent me a request for payment in lieu of legal action of $1765.08. Attached to this document in the e-mail was over 150 other pages many of them pictures of sites that I have visited while surfing the Internet. The toll-free number that they listed on the document they sent me is the 877-471-1603 number that many people have been complaining about. But the number that they called me originally on was 360-863-3692.

yeah i think its total b***s*** first of all they can't take your house or car for cc debt unless you signed it as collateral on your credit card which nobody does and no judge is going to take your house or your car, this is a b***s*** collection agency that just tries the bully tactics, i know for sure i dont owe anyone anything but you should check your credit report every 6mos just to make sure nothing is reported that is not yours

I just got a similar call.  I can't seem to find out anything about them.  A "James Alexander" claimed to be from the legal department but I can't find his name under any list of attorneys.  Anyone know anything about this person or company?

I got a call from these people saying I had a debt with Fleet back in 2004, dont know of any debt, and they are threaten lawsuit and to take my house away.  Who are these jerks?
