We got daily calls from this number, no-one on the other end. Silence, what a waste of valuable time!!!

Calling for 3 days in a row, and has been calling 3 to 5 times a week for over a year now. Finally so upset today that did not even give the call a chance to talk, and TOLD HIM TO STOP CALLING OTHERWISE WILL CALL POLICE FOR RESTRICT ORDERS.  

Will see what happen next week.

This caller calls repeatedly - 3x today. Never leaves a message. Called ID says "unavailable." I never answer, since I know it is probably a telemarketer.

Got a call from 877-474-8908.  The caller was Margaret from some sort of listing service and asked to speak to the manager or owner.  When I asked if it was a solicitation, she said "No, it's a business call." Then when I tried to ask what it was about, she hung up.

OMG!!! I asked them the same question today when they asked for the owner or manager and I asked if I could help them with something and they told me no that it was a business call and only the manager or owner could talk to them....I told them no one was available and they said they would call back tomorrow...I told them that if they are trying to sell anything the company is not interested..."well I will just call back tomorrow" (is the response that I got).  I think I am going to pretend to be a manager tomorrow and tell them once and for all to quit calling!!!!!

Got a call, actually get SEVERAL calls from this number 877-474-8908 on a daily basis, no one there and the line goes dead. After weeks AND weeks of receiving calls, I returned a call to the number.

They are EBRIDGE ONLINE ADVERTISING, wanting to advertise my business number and location to Google and blah blah blah for free (yeah right).

I politely said "This is business number and if you keep calling and hanging up, if this continues you will be reported" they hung up before I could.

We'll see what happens!

Same deal as above, wants to talk to owner manager then hangs up if they are not here.

I have caller ID and when I see those 877 or 800, I have the Telezapper and Easy Hang Up. If the Telezapper doesn't get them and I am nearby I press the Easy Hang Up and it courtly says, "I'm sorry. This number does not accept this type of calls. This is your notification to remove this number from your list. Thank you." Easy and effective.

Then I press *60 and block them, and I go to the Do Not Call online and file a complaint. Seems like a lot of work but it does slow the traffic of incoming 877 or 800 numbers. There are several days that pass by and I don't get anymore calls.:-)

I thought these people could not call you anymore if you are on the do not call list?

OMG!!! To use the current vernacular. On what grounds was he to sue YOU? Your phone records speak VERY loudly of harrassment. I'd love to get in on that action! Perhaps he's low on his International Coffee.

Called them back & gave them ALL my numbers to remove ASAP Any subsequent calls will result in legal action. May not work, but now I have grounds to work with. Curry, anyone?

That's what happens here.  I answer the call, but no one ever says a word!  They call a couple of times per day. Why are they calling if they don't want to speak?

Received multiple calls daily from this number since I'm the receptionist for a large law firm. Each time I clearly state that there is no owner for the business and to remove the number from their data base. This morning I'd had enough (5 or 6 calls in a row, same ph#) and told them to stop calling and hung up. The guy called back and told me that if I hung up on him again he'd sue me. ROFL!!!

My reply, "No Owner at this business."

Her reply, "Sorry to have bothered you."

Call is from e bridge something or other. they call wanting the owner of the business to update google and yahoo internet listings because you are the featured business next month (yeah right!). I just told them i wasn't interested and hung up. I noticed they have called more than once today and have left no message if the call is unanswered. I like Sparky's idea about the whistle...think I might try that myself since I have a "thunder"coaches whistle that makes my ears hurt when I blow it!!!

LIke all of you, they call us incessantly, multiple times a day, many times a week.  VERY annoying.  Most times they dont speak when we answer, but sometimes they do.

they keep calling all the time, several times a day.  will report them for telephone harassment .  it is illegal to be harassed via telephone as well , so we will see how they react to that.  they r a bunch of numbskulls who don't know their a** from a hole in the ground.

These b*****ds are relentless.  Calls me all the time. Once I answered and some jack*** wanted to speak with the owner.  I told him I didn't want to buy anything and not to ever make the mistake of calling me again. They've called back 5 times since.  

I tried hitting the "5" key numerous times, didn't work for me.  Would love to kick some a**, maybe they would quit calling then

I answered this call this morning.  I decided to let them go through their whole sales pitch.  I figured the longer I kept them on the phone the fewer people they would be able to call.
This call was for an online business listing.  Beware.  I told them upfront I was not paying for anything.  They went through their pitch and in the end tried to hurry through the part that after 30 days $99 monthy would be billed through my phone company unless I called to cancel.  Of course I told her, Alex, absolutely no way.  I told her I do not want a listing and I do not want to be billed.  I will notice an extra $99 if it happens to show up on my phone bill and I definately won't pay it.

they just called our company with a very bad COLD CALL, don't answer to them.

And I agree with sarah up there. They are just calling random numbers trying to talk to the OWNER or MANAGER.

They are a ripoff.

the woman on the phone said their website is E Bridge Interactives, and our business would be featured next month as the best business contact in our town, blah blah blah.  I simply replied, "Wrong."

She was caught off guard, and said, "Excuse me?"  I said, "Here's the deal, take my phone number off your calling list, and take my business listing off your website.  I will be checking your website to make sure I am removed."  

I am a private consultant, and had to set up a business for tax purposes only, I don't need to be listed on some stupid website.  

She was actually very pleasant, and said it wouldn't be a problem.  We'll see!!

saw the number and handed the phone to my 14-month old. she just kept pushing buttons. we'll see how they like to be annoyed :)

They call every couple of days. Yesterday I just picked up the phone and hung it back up. didn't wait to see if anyone was on the other end this time or not... I just don't care anymore. There is seldom anyone at the other end since the calls are computer generated and if they don['t answer within the count of one when I say hello I hang up.

We get calls from these people everyday and each time, they're selling a different type of scam.
Yesterday it was yellow page listings, today it was Google listing, two days ago it was a magazine subscription.  It's hard to get any real work done with these losers bothering us!

Received a phone call from this number today.  I called the number back and talked to someone named "Ashley" - with some kind of accent I could not recognize, and I explained to her very politely about how we only have one business line and that we were on the DNC List and asked to be removed.  She complied and said it would take up to 72 hours and apologized.  I did notice at one point she began a sentence, then it went silent like she was cut off, and then she said something she had already said right before she was cut off using the exact same tone in the words - it really made it sound like it was a computerized voice somehow, but it was interactive.  Is this possible.....?
