Keep getting call after call  from                                877-474-9923 and never leave a message

Called again this morning at 8:36 am. I answered this time and spoke to "Phyllis" who only told me her name and then asked for me by name. She wanted to confirm all my information, name, date of birth, etc. I told her that I was not confirming any information and what company was she with. This is "Phyllis" with ALLIED INTERSTATE LLC. I stopped her and informed her that I had already spoken to someone yesterday to put me on their "do not call" list. She informed me that she was calling regarding a credit company of mine, which she named but I won't list here. I informed her that I will not be handling anything through a third party and I have already spoken to the credit company personally. She informed me that that didn't matter and obviously I haven't taken care of anything because the information was sent to them. She then stated the amount that I previously owed and that I needed to get my checkbook so I can pay this over the phone today. I informed her again that I had already spoken with the credit company, that I would not be giving her any information, and will be handling everything directly with my credit company, not through a third party. She became angry with me and raised her voice when she asked me if I was going to listen to what she had to say. I told her to go ahead. She said the script of her name, company name and listed it as being on behalf of the credit card company she named earlier, the the call could be recorded for training purposes, and that this is an attempt to collect a debt and any information retrieved during this process can be used to take care of the debt. I stopped her at that point and informed her in a firm manner that it is fine to record this conversation, that I will not be handling anything through a third party, and to remove me from their contact lists. I could tell by the tone of her voice that that was not the answer she wanted to hear because she sounded angry and had a little bit of an 'Indian' accent by this time. She informed me that she would make a note on the information to not contact me again. Seeing as I've heard that before, I don't believe her that she made a note on anything.

DO NOT pay third party collectors. Pay the company you have the credit card with directly. Third party payments cannot be guaranteed that they are sent to the creditor that you owe money, plus you're sharing banking, payment, and/or personal information with someone you don't know. Contacting the company directly is the BEST way to handle these situations.

Called and left no message again at 10:28 am. I called back and the man that answered the phone said his name, but was unable to understand it, and then stated that he was with Allied Interstate LLC. I informed him that I am receiving phone calls from his company and wish to no longer receive calls. I am not late on any debts and do not want them calling my number anymore. He asked for more information regarding the number calling. I informed him that I called 8774749923 and he said that that was not their call back number. He further informed me of an 866 number that is their call back number and that it must be some other department contacting me. I informed him that I do not care what department called me, they are from your company, and I do not want to receive phone calls. The conversation about this went back and forth several times with him stating that it was a different department and that he couldn't do anything. My only reply to him continuously was to not receive phone calls. I told him that I don't care if it's a different department in your company, it's still your company, make a note on the information you have for me in your system that I do not want to receive phone calls. He finally said that he would pass it on to the department responsible. I told him that he needs to forward it to whomever but make a note and do not call me anymore. He said he would do so and hung up.

We'll see if he keeps with what he said regarding making a note on the information they have for me.

Received phone call from them at 8:14 am. They left no message. I assume from the above messages that they are debt collectors. I am not late on bills so I don't know why they'd call me.

Receive several phone calls a day with no message. The frequency with which they call must be against the law or considered harrassment. If it continues, I will report them to the FTC. Bill collection is one thing, harrassment for the bill collection is another.

There owe to be a law against this type of harassment.
I owe this people nothing. I picked the phone I told not to call.
and it gets worse they call 8 am to 8pm 5 to 6 times 7 days a week.
No respect. I wish someone do something about this abuse.

These debt predators are using the unfortunate situation of many Americans who are having financial difficulty to try to collect off of their fellow man who do not have the funds to pay their debt. many of us are not having enough money to eat properly, get needed medical/dental/eye attention, pay our minimum property taxes, insurances...the list goes on. No life-just survival mode. They know they will never get paid, yet they continue to call and harass. Probably get paid per call, I imagine. They will never get any money from me even if I win the lottery, due to their immoral ways.

I've been getting calls from 877-474-9923 on my new cell phone and new number. They hang up before I can answer. I called back after the second call this morning. The man on the line asked for my name so he could "pull up my account" and I wouldn't give it to him. I asked who he was and why he was calling and he said "Allied" but would give no further information.

Have requested 3 times to have my number removed from their calling list. Each time confirming with the person on the other end they have no idea why they are calling me.  This needs to stop NOW. How do I file complaints against them NOW!

I think they just call all the people with the same last name to try to find the person that owes them money.  They were calling several times a day for at least a week and when I finally answered, I found out they were looking for one of my relatives.

calls 5 or 6 times a day, no one ever there when we answer

nothing to this. They call at 6:30 AM every other day. Very Annoying.

"Unknown Name" on my readout and nobody there. Called back and got nothing as if I hadn't completed my dialing. Didn't ring, nothing.
