The do not call list does not include collection calls. Collection calls are not considered as "solicitation " calls, therefore you will continue to receive calls of this type no matter what you do, unless you resolve with the creditor.

Who is this they call and do not say anything??

I'm starting to think the National Do Not Call Registry is a hoax.  I signed up with them, and keep getting calls.  I have gotten more calls on my cell phone since registering my cell phone number with them.  I asked one of the telemarketers, and she said yes, they get their list from the Do Not Call Registry.  Either she's a liar, or they do get their number list from there, or both.

Get at least five calls a day from this number on my cell. they don't leave a message. Not sure whats going on with the Do Not Call list..but it's not working out too well for me.

Nope, caller ID says out of area. If they call and won't leave a message or ID themselves, I block them.
I'll get serious when they do.

Yes, caller ID says out of area, no message -so I blocked their number. Speak up, id yourself or talk to the dial tone.
