If you have an android phone, get Blacklist. There is a free version. Works great. Actually does block numbers. I have had some idiot telemarketer call me 39 times! And Blacklist has blocked them each and every time!

I received the same text at 12:45 a.m. I am on the do not call registry...how did they get my phone number??? I have Metro PCS as my cell phone provider.

They texted me from 949-439-0316 at MIDNIGHT!! I have a parent with cancer! They woke everyone up! Text reads:"Congratulations! As a thank you, call 877-499-0316 to receive your $100 retail rebate. Reply END to STOP." Im on a DO NOT CALL registry.
I called the incoming number first and it rolls right into VM and says their VM has not been set up yet. Then I called the 877 # and i get people who can't speak english. You can hear a hundred voices all talking with the same accent in the background. She started asking me for my info, name, address....I didnt give it and asked her why they were calling me and she hung up on me. I kept calling back. I asked why they were thanking me....one said it was for my recent purchase at Walmart or Target...then they said I was winning the gift card FORr Walmart. They said they knew I made the purchase from my cc. I know thats a lie cause Im not using my cc. I asked to speak to a manager and they said there was none. Another told me to cb during "NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS!!" I might say the same for them. I asked where they were located and was hung up on again. I just kept calling back...then I was told "AIR-EE-SHOONEa"!!! I asked them if they realized they were breaking the law to call a number listed with DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and on top of that to telemarket after 9pm....he said, "we didn't call you". I asked, then how did i have your number? He said, "Do you want your gift card or not"? !!!
I do not pay all of this money for MY phone for them to be able to harrass me on it. There should be someway to stop this lying, inconsiderate, scamming, IDIOTS!

I reply STOP and nothing, 2 days later I get another text from another number, same thing. SCAM! How do we stop and how in the world did they get my cell phone number?
