SCAM SCAM SCAM. Pretended to be Dish Network saying that DirecTV gave them our business. Asked for a bunch of information and was super sketchy. Do NOT give them any personal information.

I had called Direct TV at 888-680-8775 then did not go thru with it the day before. So I got a call from 877-501-5117 saying that they were from Dish Network and they wanted to set me up and get me the best deal possible. . . . yeah right.  When I would not verify my personal info on the phone I hung up.  I immediately got another call from the number.  I answered the phone call and said the I hung up, we were not disconnected.  The woman then spouted, "Well, you've got some nerve and some great phone ettiquette." then she hung up.

WOW.  I suppose that is what you get when Direct TV tries to keep jobs in America. . . . .CRAPPY CUSTOMER CARE.

This is not DirecTV.... it's Dish Network hiding behind a huge lie and they totally scammed me today.  Luckily I caught them because I almost had 2 dish instillations happening in a week.   They said that DirecTV had given them my info and that they could not fulfill the service I had just set up.  They had a very deep plan to this crazy scam and were very good at it. BEWARE.... they at first tried to pretend to be DirecTV until I mentioned I had just ordered DTV online and then they were very excited to tell me tall me how they were really Dish Network and they worked with them and already knew that info.

Answered by mistake - claimed to be DirectTv with a promotional offer.  Asked them not to call back.  Seemed polite enough, but sounded sketchy.  Background noise on the call and lack of a professional script caused "spidey sense" to start tingling.

Direct TV calling with crappy sales people trying to get me to buy into there service.

I called Direct TV and made it clear I was not going to order their service at this time. All I wanted was some information about their service. The lady answered my questions and she understood I was not calling to order service. Now I get calls from them everyday to set up service I never ordered. Due to this, I am going to stay with my cable service and never order service from Direct TV. By the way, in case you don't know, cable picture is much better than sat.

I get a call at least twice a day. No messages left. Called back and it's a call center for Direct Tv. Stop Calling! Funny because I already have Direct Tv.

Same s*** happened to me, they called and asked if i want to get direct tv, i told them i already have it, and asked where they got my number and they hung up. i called back and i asked how they got my number and they hung up. SCAM!!!
