I received a text message from the number above with the same information last night around 8:00pm. I'm for sure it's a SCAM. How can NETSPEND text you and not give you the specific card (MC, VISA, Discover, Amex) that is deactivated. I called last night and it was an automated service asking to enter the 16 digit card number?. . . WHAT CARD! I called again this morning and the number is disconnected! DAMN SCAMMERS!

Same as previous post: Received text from NETSPEND Alert that card had been deactivated and to call this # to activate. I don't think so....

I received a text message from the above number telling me that my "card had been deactivated" and to "Call this number to reactivate."  Sounds like BS to me.
