This number is for Greater Lafayette Home Health...  Outstanding Medical Bills. They actually left a recorded voicemail.

i got a call from  this number - called it back and was put on hold for about 20 minutes.  the operator said that it the Central Business Office for Wishard Hospital.  She asked my phone number and then stated that there was no record of them calling me.

got a call, said" please wait for an incoming call" and then music played. I hung up after 10 seconds. called back and said central business center but hung up.

This number called me and I was able to look it up here before the individual actually got on the phone.  I asked who he was and he told me they are the central business center for the Northern Arizona Hospital.

I got a call from this number and it was Northern Arizona Healthcare Central Business Office.

"Central Business Office" "For whom?" "For the hospital." "What hospital?" "It depends."

Said they were Shands Jacksonville Medical Center business office but couldn't identify anything about the hospital.  Asked me for confidential information - my birthdate, street address. I hung up on him.

The person who called me (AT 8:30 P. M.!) was very unprofessional.  Furthermore, he asked (almost "demanded") that I give him my credit card
number over the 'phone,  Needless to say, I did not.

   I'm very disappointed that this collection agency is being used.

Just got a call from this number. The reception was bad so I couldn't make out who they were. Health care and Courtesy call was all I could understand. I just told her I didn't have time since I'm at work (after she asked for various personal information). She gave me a number to return the call. Yeah, sure, like I'll be doing that.

Its a medical billing collection agency. If they don't seem to respond its most likely a computer-driven dialing program waiting for you to say "hello?" Enough times to wake 'em up! If they're calling you on a cellphone, start talking (don't let 'em start they'll never quit) and say "you are calling me on a private cellular line and I demand you stop. Contact me via US mail only." Then say "have a pleasant day, I'm hanging up now."

They keep calling me.  It rings twice and then hangs up.  No message and never rings more than 2 times.  Is there a way to block them from my cell phone?

Got a call 8/10/07 around 11:15 AM.  I answered, no response but I could tell they were still connected.  It eventually disconnected.  Can we put a block on this # on our cell phones??

I answered the call and no one replied back even thought there sounded like someone there.

I've never been to Arizona.

Stop calling my house phone number.

Repeated calls on my cell phone.  Will go to voicemail every now and again saying please hold for an important call and will repeat over and over.  I tried calling back and they said they were collecting a debt from a hospital.  When I asked which one, they would not tell me.  Asked me for more information, I'm not dumb, wouldn't give it to them and they hung up on me. . idiots!!!

I received a call from this number and could hardly understand anything that was said, had to listen 3 times for the number.  Still not sure what they wanted. The call was not for me.

These people called my cellphone and didn't even bother to leave a message. I don't intend on wasting my minutes on someone that I don't know and if they don't know how to leave a voice mail then it obviously isn't important. Thanks for posting. Now I have an idea of who they are based on all of your posts. I don't owe any money so why would they be calling me? I'm tired of getting spam calls on my cellphone...just my cellphone.

Same as others, they called my cell phone number. I answered, recorded message states "Please hold for an "important" call." Goes to hold music for about 1 minute then called dropped.

I called back and a recorded message answers "You have reached the Central Business Office, please hold." I waited 2 minutes and was disconnected.

I don't know who these people are and don't care. Piss poor service and ridiculous phone manners. I do not owe any money that I am aware of. Even if I did, still a terrible way to try and collect. Whoever they are, they can just stop calling my cell phone.

I called them back, got someone on the line in about a minute, then told the guy I was going to hang up on him like he did on me. Followed through.

My experience was pretty much identical to the last post (5 Feb).

I get a call from them like once every two weeks. I never answered. they left a voice mail once, saying plz wait for an incoming call, and then they played a song. when the song was over, my voice mail said " end of message". They just called me right now, but didn't answer.

This number called my grandsons cell phone. He did not answer since he knows not to answer strange calls. They need to stop that crap whoever they are!

I keep getting a call every day at the same time, a pre recorded voice tells me that I have a important message, but no messages! only some retarded playing a guitar... ??? why am I getting these calls??

Keep getting calls from this number. Same as others, call back and get put on hold or incoming phone call asks me to hold for an "important" call. I did receive service at Flagstaff Medical Center, but am not late on any bills.

I called them back , and it's for the Central Business Office. They apparently handle billing for certain hospitals. They indicated I owed a doctor money and I needed to send a check. I tried verify the original number and he indicated 1-877-503-5218.  The number I called first was 928-773-1922 and this central business office said a modem transferred the call.  He gave me a local number to call and it turns out it was Flagstaff AZ medical.  I called number and verified this Central Business is an out source that does billing and collections for certain hospitals in south west.  They have received many complaints and are trying to fix the problem.  If you ask for a local number they will give you the hospital billing number nearest to you.  Do not send them money without getting the hospital to send you a full accounting on what your insurance has paid.  They said I owed over $3000 and the insurance I have doesn't even have any copay so this is either a hospital error or an insurance error.

Call came in from 877-503-5218 on my cell phone. I didn't answer the phone.  Instead, I waited to see if a voice mail would be left. I got my message alert for new voice mail. When I went to check it, there was music playing and then silence.

They called and asked me to wait for the incoming call, which was weird. Why shud we wait for an incoming call????? I waited for 52sec and then hung the phone. No idea who they were.

got a call from this number and a machine said hold for an important call and then some lady tried to get me to verify my birthday and address. Seems odd to me that they are looking for me and need all that information. Need to be careful what you give out.

I had a missed call on my cell phone from this number, they didn't leave a message.  I called it back from my work phone (my work # shows up unknown).  It answered Central Business Office...then press 1 for English, etc.  I pressed one & it asked for a reference #, which I didn't have obviously.  Then I was on hold for like 5 minutes & nobody ever picked up.  So I have no idea what this is.
