Does anyone know how these people get your phone number? The financial institution included in the text message I received--I don't, nor have I ever had any type of account with them!

I was getting these texts pretty consistently about 2 months ago, but ignored them because I knew I didn't have an account with Resource One. They stopped for about a month, but just got another one today. A friend of mine was just totally frauded by a company that up and made a $300 "ghost" deposit into her account, then charged her $90 a month later stating that she hadn't paid back the "loan" that she never requested, so I'm very leery about these phishing scams right now....they appear to be on the rise. Has anyone found out where these are coming from?

I will pay a hacker to give me a confirmed address and all info for the person(s) behind this scam.

Agree with the above assessment. Received the exact same text msg, originating from "unknown" caller, with a blatant phishing attempt. If someone has a VOIP-based DDoS attack program, this phone number is a good one to use it on!!

This phone number sent TXT messages to all of my company phones (8 total) all with the same message.
The message was, "This is an automated message from [name of cedit union]. Your ATM card has been suspended. To reactivate call urgent at 1-877-504-4105."
I called the credit union and they told me that my ATM card was NOT suspended - this number is a phishing number, they ask for you to input the 16 digit number of your ATM card, I never could get them to accept 123456789123456 or 0000000000000000 so I quit testing at this point.
This is a SCAM - BE VERY CAREFUL this is a SCAM. This number comes back to accessline.com a company that supplies voice over IP phone numbers to unknown clients.
