If you were legit you would stop fishing names in the phone book. Last I checked after being told you have the wrong party the law requires you to stop calling. There are hundreds of people with the same name across the country and in the same state.

Care to elaborate?  The last post in this thread was almost a year ago and you are piping up with really good information but no new news.  Did these people call you?  If they did, tell us about it so that we can all learn.  Otherwise, thanks for the write up but its nothing we haven't seen or heard before and is readily available in many (many) places on this forum.

Shill.  Why can't you people (using the term loosely) verify that the number you are calling belongs to the person you want to talk to.  Land lines are easy, you just use a  411 look-up on the number to see if it belongs to Joe Person.  Or if you think you know the number, meaning your sleazy skip tracers have told you what they think is Joe's number, trust but verify.  There are resources out there that let you reverse look-up.  They aren't free, but I would think that if your company is legitimate, they won't NOT want to use the services that will save them time and embarrassment because when you come on here playing the shill, you will get destroyed.

you said they follow all federal rules, no they don't

first, they have to tell you that the call may be recorded at the beginning of the call .... not at the end
Second, once you are told not to call anymore it becomes harassment to continue calling (even if that person does owe you)

If you are legitimate, if we tell you that the number no longer belongs to the person you're looking for (and you can verify that with phone company if you really did your job fully) then WHY KEEP HARRASSING US? I'm fighting kidney disease and confined to my bed, I don't have energy to keep dealing with rude, upnoxious people who don't do their job. My phone number is recycled by phone company and I keep getting calls from your company.  Start acting professional if you are legitimate, investigate fully before calling people liars or worse.

My child is 15 and MRS called for her.  The caller identified herself as Linda Lewis and nothing else. I asked who she worked for, she said she had to speak with my child and could not tell me. I told her I am the mother and my child is under 18.  She still did not elaborate with any of her information, only told me about what she had to verify. When I refused to verify any information she had other than my child is a minor, she hung up on me.  I have never heard of MRS. If they are looking to collect a debt, I have no idea where it came from. I will be contacting my lawyers about this incident and have them investigate it further.  Whoever Nisey is, I hope strange people don't try to contact your children without divulging their intent. As for me, I am a protective b***** and strange people calling my children with cryptic responses and not telling me what they want will find the tables turned on them.

Funny Nicey... Your colleagues are not trying to do their job very well. It is not very difficult to collect debts in a fair manner, abiding by the rules set out to govern your profession. I was told the amount owed on an x-business partners personal debt AFTER I had advised I did not know how to contact him nor desired  such. The caller assumed I was 'guilty' by association and rambled on to advise me that my credit-score was in great jeopardy at which I replied I do not use credit. She had already learned from our conversation that I own a home-based service business and told me "Sir, I'm not stupid, you own a business, credit is inportant to you" (sound familiar, Nise?)   I advised her that I have never used credit and always bought, paid, & was paid for my jobs in cash. This is true. She called me a "liar" and said there was "no way that's true" and again said I thought she must be "stupid". I do believe now, she is.

These folks are scam artists as well as debt collectors. They present false billings and do not understand words like "seize & desist", "disputed", or, apparently, "wrong#", all specifically addressed per the FDCPA. I was a PROFESSIONAL debt collector and skip tracer for many years and what this company does is unethical, unprofessional, and illegal.

Wow that was stupid! Mrs is a collections agency!!!! Has nothing to do with voting or politics! All it has to do with is you borrowed money either from a credit card or bank and you didn't make your monthly payments and your account went into collections! So we are calling you to get the money the bank is rghtfully owed! And now that it has reach collections its killing your credit which means when you wanna buy a house, rent an apartment, buy a car, etc you screwed yourself because you now have badcredit. So just answer the phone when they call and at least find out what they need to tell u!!! And heads up if they are calling you and ask for you by name, we have allll your info! I work there, all we are doing is our job. You most likely owe money, so just talk to them pay off your debt so we don't have to call anymore and you can come out of collections and stop killing your credit score. If you know for sure you don't owe money than simply tell them they have the wrong number and please don't call again

Heads up people! I work for mrs bpo llc. Its a collection agency and we are just trying to do our jobs! If your receiving phones calls its one out of three things!!! One you never paid your bill that you signed an agreement stating you agreed to pay back the money you spend. 2, you are affliated with someone who owes a bank money and they are just trying to get in contact with that person. And 3 its simpley they just have the wrong #.  They are a good company who follows all the federal regulations and just trying to collect the money rightful owed to a bank. Don't have any clue to what this call is about.  Receive calls from this number about 10 times per day.  Stop these calls.

MRS BPO LLC are real dogs, when I blocked their calls which included their caller ID, they resorted to calling from UNKNOWN.  The FCC is failing us all allowing these guys to operate this way and abuse the technology.

OK this guy named justin called and stated that he was calling to collect on a debt. I'm actually not surprised of the call. OK PEOPLE! IT IS POLITICAL. do they pay attention? f*** no.

there should be a law against these f****ng bill collector vultures and a way to keep our phone numbers PRIVATE and completely unlisted...i know that they're not since some other idiot bill collector called once when i had an unlisted phone number and even an unlisted cell phone number.

I have the similar experience with this number.  They kept calling and won't leave a message.  When I called them to stop calling my number, they said the debtor owe money in AZ.  But we don't know the debtor.  Why call us?  We never even been to AZ.  I told her to remove my number.  She said she can't promise no more calls for the future.  That's scary.

try and use call block from your phone provider...just stay on top of it because they will call from multiple numbers.

i tried to get them to stop calling and realized it was a dead end.... the call block works but they then call from another number.


I keep the number in my phone and actually harass them...

No idea who it is. First time they called.

I get calls from them at least 3 times a day.  I do not answer, but it is very annoying. From what I read above, I'm assuming they are a debt collector. We do not owe any money to anyone! I want them to stop calling!!

We get calls at least twice a day...most days more.  They say my husband owes money which is impossible.  How can I get this to stop?!

They call my house like 4 to 5x a day from a phone number 856-334-0593.

JUST SIMPLY TELL THEM IT IS A WRONG # & IF THEY CALL YOU AGAIN AFTER THIS YOU WILL BE CONTACTING AN ATTY. BECAUSE IT IS AGAINST THE FDCPA TO CONTINUE TO CALL AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN TOLD IT IS A WRONG NUMBER.

The caller is seeking information about a family member we have not been in contact with for 20 years and for which we have no contact information.   They ask leading questions with false information trying to get my own personal information.  These calls occur about once a quarter.
