Why does your company, if so reputable, have a "F" rating with the Chicago BBB?  You never even responde to their inquires. Why haven't you mailed out any refunds as you claim you do?

another mistake, maybe deliberate?

Anonymous ( tietolman), did not post that the company was in good standing. It was posted by another individual.

The guy that posted was " IT'S ME ": and he replied to anonymous.

Can you explain why you have difficulty seeing that the posts are done by two different individuals?

Is there some kind of a drive to tie in all the slanderous post to the same individual?

I could not help but notice ( taking a peek at the other post, of course), but some posters have said that the individuals IP address was given to the police.

you do have a telemarketers bond? you are registered as telemarketers and you are registered as a foreign corporation in all states that require this?

To 'Rodney' and 'jew shill':

While you may have a valid complaint it's a shame that you always have to cloud it up with your own bigotry and fascism. Your not so veiled threats about the personal safety of some individuals also completely degrades this discussion and adds even more weight to your loss of credibility. I'm surprised your IP hasn't been reported to the authorities yet.

Elsie, you said that you DID indeed get a refund after asking them for it, correct?

I read through every post on this complaint, and it seems to me that if this FRAUDWATCH company was the scam that this "Anonymous" claims it to be, you wouldn't have reached them at all, much less gotten a refund.  Scam outfits generally don't issue refunds, since it goes against the very definition of the word.  But that's just me.

I'll admit - I was directed to this page when I looked up the number after my grandmother received a call. She had left her purse at my apartment when she visited earlier in the week, and told me about it when I'd come to return it to her. Obviously she didn't give info on her account because her checks were in the purse she'd forgotten at my place. A return call was supposed to have been made, and I told her I'd like to look into this before she signed up for the service.

After reading the first three pages, I was conflicted - so many posts about this company being a scam, yet just as many posts from people representing this company attempting as hard as they could to address the original complaint - only to be shelled by anonymous hecklers.  I checked out the website, and saw contact information prominently displayed - so that confused me as well as far as the hecklers' efforts. Even in one of the posts made by "Anonymous" it's stated that the company's business profile/number is "in good standing" - that, to me, speaks volumes.

I asked my grandmother what the conversation was like with the person on the other end of the phone - "oh, the gentleman was very polite. I was confused at firs and he took the time to explain things."  I expressly asked her if anything was said as was written here - the rudeness, threats, misleading statements about being from her bank - and she told me no. The guy on the other end of the phone went out of his way to explain that he was NOT from her bank. That struck me as odd.

As I went along, I saw your post, Elsie, and to me it definitively showed that this company may not be as bad as the hecklers claim. You called for assistance, got it, and received the refund you'd asked for.

I'm still going to advise my grandmother to decline the service - better to be safe than sorry, since you can't believe everything you read on the Internet - but frankly I believe the accusations leveled against FRAUDWATCH are biased and have nothing to do with their practices, and I base that opinion on facts that can be verified and not conjecture.

As a side-note - demanding this company's website hosts take down their website is not only unproductive, but counter-productive. From what I am reading, and from what I saw with my own eyes,  their website does not generate their sales. It is not equipped to accept payment of any form, and exists specifically to provide access to assistance and customer support. I fail to understand why that is such a bad thing.  But again - that's just me.

You may be right - I have no idea what goes on in your city and frankly it's of very little interest to me. What is clear, however, is that it's becoming increasingly difficult to tell what the complaints are about: pesky telemarketing calls to seniors to sell them products and services they may have no need for, their lack of a refund policy or failure to follow up on such a policy, the deceptive marketing techniques employed seemingly by a section of the company's workforce, the ownership itself of Fraudwatch, other businesses presumably affiliated with the company, personal grievances with the owners.

While I myself find telemarketers to be a nuisance - we've now activated incoming call block for all solicitors on my mother's line - I hardly think you speak for the whole telemarketing industry when you claim to have inside knowledge of the inner workings of ALL of them. So if anyone is talking out of their backside, it would be you.

In any case we got our refund and probably won't be spending any more time on this thread.

I only dealt with Fraudwatch so I can only give my feedback on them. Their customer service responded in a professional manner when I contacted them and we were issued a refund. I wouldn't be able to tell you much about the sales practices of their sales agents given that I didn't deal with them directly myself but I do know that my mother would immediately report anyone who threatened her on the phone. I don't know but it just doesn't seem to add up that any company would sanction or encourage the sort of practices you describe.

I've worked with them. i know what goes on. reps are encouraged to get them through ver no matter what. say you're calling from their bank. say you'll close their acct unless they comply. the same names every office. constantly recycling its own garbage. this city has numerous tietolmans all fighting for the same old ladys pension. the accts are shut down due to chargebacks and/or complaints they are right back up thanks to daddys banking connections. been that way for years. not for much longer. tidal wave is coming and its long overdue.

I should add that my mother agreed to purchase the protection, so it would be a bit unfair to say her pension check was stolen. My mom though wasn't aware at the time that she was already signed up for account protection with Chase where she banks, which is why we canceled the plan she purchased with this company. It seems like you or at least some people here have a personal axe to grind with said outfit - if it is the case, maybe you should take it elsewhere and try to keep this space for legitimate complaints that we customers can relate to and which would be of help to others who might be seeking a refund.

it doesnt matter. once you've gone so far there is no turning back. getting personal is the only language these turds understand. they knew the risks going in, beleive me. no one will weep for them. its not just about stealing old american peoples pension checks which they've done for years, they've screwed MANY people locally and that will not go unpunished.

I've been following this cyber saga for a while now - my mother was issued a refund by fraudwatch as a former customer. I called the company when the charge showed up on my mother's bank statement; according to her, their salesperson originally sold her the service as an all-inclusive protection package against fraud and identity theft. The reason I canceled it was because my mother already had fraud protection on her account with her own bank and there was no need to pay extra for another independent service. All you need to do is to get in touch with them and request a refund. Getting personal will not be of any benefit to any concerned.

You know what's interesting anonymous, it's how you are able to get 800notes to delete a phone number. Is it really because your concerned for her safety or do you not any one calling for other reason?

Here's my email, anyone can reach me here, just tell them that I'm the guy who gave you Haarp's documents for the Japan earthquake.

Re. "was asked to read out loud her grocery check.  I'm not sure why," I assume you mean she was asked to read a grocery check that she had written. Checks have routing and account numbers printed with magnetic ink (bottom left corner on US checks) and guess that's how they stole her account info. No need to wait for checks that will never show up, haven't you read my previous posts on these scammers? Replace the account for criminals have it and can charge again. Report the scammers. Don't wait.

My elderly mother is trying to get her $289 returned to her. She was asked to read out loud her grocery check.  I'm not sure why.  I wasn't there.  She insists she declined their services.  Now trying to help her get her money back.  We have called three times and were reassured each time that the check will arrive in the mail.  My mother lives on very low-income and just survived the death of my father two months prior.  I understand senior abuse runs rampant.  Will wait one more month and then will report to AG office.

.No there is another link. Speechless Media is owned by Madicom. Madicom also owns secure account services, and teleprotect. Madicom is own by A Tietolman.

J Moore was also working (if that's  his/her/it's name ) at secure account service.

First Consumer is listed in PA:

This is the business entity's number: 3934528
They're in good standing. You can see the file by going to the following link. You need to search by Business entity number.
https://www.corporations.state.pa.us/corp/soskb/cSearch.asp

They do not have an address only a registered agent. Furthermore there is no mention of my fraud watch.

It's not safe to post your phone number on public forums, I've reported it to 800notes to ask it be masked. If you can spare the time, please write up a detailed description of how you were scammed and send it to abuse@wiredtree.com and ask that the scamming website myfraudwatch.com be shut down. Getting their website shut down will help others who are being scammed right now. Please.

I have called on behalf of my Mother and asked that the enrollment be terminated and a refund check issued. Your contact people named Anna Marie and John Moore have both promised us a refund. After three phone calls and waiting 5 weeks, I have now filed a complaint with New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman. The people who are answering the phone at 877-509-5290 are obviously SCAM ARTISTS  who work without a code of ethics.

P.S. I can be reached at [removed].
