Thank God i got rid of my landline  have a cell n if i dont wana talk 2 bill collectors i just use mr number it blocks all unessary call from those bill collectors

I've got calls from this number a couple times and don't answer because I don't know who it is, but I do owe a bill to verizon and someone else said that this is a verizon number, so it probably is.

I recieving this call regarding with account from verizon that does not exixt . The account belong to someone in ma.

I received 3 phone message with instruction to call this number and be sure to include some account number they noted. I've never been a Verizon customer; have always been Cingular/ATT. I called the number, but got a message stating that my business was important and to wait for the next available operator. So I waited - and waited - and waited - and waited. Just another nuisance......

I received this call regarding an account with verizon that does not exist.  As my name is not on our verizon bill and the account number we do have does not match the account number they gave, this can only be a scam.  this is very strange and disconcerting as there is no live person to speak with and only a recording asking to pay the "over due bill."

This number constantly calls our home and we do not have any late bills.

I got a call from a automated message saying an account number I had to reference the call to. Didn't state where they were calling from. My number was already blocked for 800 calls!

These guys call me at the most awkward times like 8pm at night or 7am in the mourning. Its from sprint. I had a dispute with spring on their bad customer service and told them I was switching from them. Well did that a huge fine on me. These guys call like they are your friend. Its funny because they leave a message and say stupid things anyone with common sense will notice like... "hey auzy. its gary. Been a long time buddy. Call me back at -877-517-4379" I was like. Bahaha. Yah that's gonna work.

I saw the number on my caller ID so I looked up this number on 800Notes to see who it was. From everyone's messages here it looked like it was from Verizon. I do have Verizon residential phone service so I just called the number back to make sure there was nothing wrong with my bill that I didnt know about (cuz Verizon is sneaky like that).  I called the number back and immediately got a rep. I told him that I just received a call from this number, the rep asked if a message was left with an account number, I told him no (Verizon voicemail service is too expensive so I never signed up for it, so anyone who calls me, my phone will just ring forever). He looked up the account and said they are looking for someone named Wanda Gatling, I told him he has the wrong number and no one here lives by that name; gotta love the way Verizon recycles phone numbers. I just got this phone number a month ago and I have received tons of calls from people asking for this person. The rep politely said he would remove my number from his calling list and that was it.

i used to have an account with att and they've charged me twice for a phone bill.

I just got a call from them and it was Verizon landline said that we owe them money too.I think they are just mad that we switched to a different company. We don't owe them anything.

VERIZON.....collection agency hired by them....we had an incident this summer with Verizon.....cell bill with $300 in calls we didn't make....Verizon refuses to discuss issue...we switched everything to new provider.  This company claims they are a pre-collection agency, are extreme in the area of hassle, nasty and rude..they also lie about the purpose of the call........

This is a call from CCA- Collection Companies of America.  The handle outstanding debts for student loans, Verizon land and cellular phones, Sprint, and about 2000 other companies.

I might have an idea who this is but not dure. Anyone come across this?
