Called me at 11:15pm, I tried getting to the phone wondering who the hell would be calling me this late, only to see an 877 number. Tried calling back, and was told that I could not call this toll free number back. I also live in Colorado.

Called asking for bank info, but I live in Colorado. Same deal though. Must be scam.

Just a recorded message asking for credit card info to reactivate my card that they claimed to have been suspended for security reasons.  Of course I didn't give them any info.  I did however enter a bunch of random numbers for a little while. :)

this scam called me too. don't call them back!

Got three calls frm 877-520-7710 at 11:00 pm. Don't have account with credit union shown above but I do have one with a credit union in Colorado. Number doesn't accept calls. Most annoying.

Called me @ 11:06 PM!  My phone, thank goodness, was on mute!

I just got a call from this number around 8 pm. My phone went dead! Maybe that was a blessing. I'm also on the do not call registry. Good grief! Nobody has my phone # as I keep it as private as possible! They must just call numbers on random! Anyone could be next! They best not call me back or else. I'll hunt them down and beat the crap outta um!

I received a call last night at 9:00 PM, telling me my credit card/ATM cad was blocked.  I hung up; I,m in Denver, CO.....

Called me at 1:30 am on 8/19...in a deep sleep but knew that I didn't know the number so I didn't answer.

The recording said it was Proponent Bank when it called me....

recieved a call 8/13 at 1:30 am! picked up and heard a message about a Suncoast Credit Union debit card being restricted, it  said something about debit card and pin number. I hang up. And yes, I'm also in the Tampa area.

I have received two calls in the past month. The first one on 8/10 at 10:21 am, Unavailable/2129 - stating your Suncoast Schools Credit Union card needs to be verified, press "1" now. I hang up right away. Received call last night 8/12 at 11:08 pm, I was woken up, this time caller ID says "Asterisk 877-520-7110, got message in the middle and I hung up. This is really annoying! I have verified I'm on the "Do Not Call Registry" and these calls should not be coming through. How do we stop them???!!!

I am a Suncoast schools credit union member, I received a call from this number, called the credit union back and it is a phishing call, not the credit union

I only got the middle part of the message apparently their recording starts as soon as it hears your greeting begin.
I did hear "debit card reactivation, remove restrictions, etc..... funny my card worked just fine at lunch today!!!!
Like some others here I called the number back from a land line and got the annoying busy sound, only it's not busy, they are blocking incoming calls.
Scammers suck!!! Somebody please catch the people using this number to call from......how hard is it????
I mean can you just get a phone number these days with no I.D. or anything???
The recording says follow the prompt and your input must match your information we already have on file........I'll tell you what you tell me what info you have and I'll tell you if it is right!!!!!!!

Just missed a call 5mins ago from this number. I looked it up and found this website. Look out for these scammers people, they are getting smarter.

they called twice this week saying that my debit card will be placed on hold unless I verify my account information. almost positive this is a scam. one of the first things I was taught when all this new technology came out was NO company will EVER ask you for your information if they're the ones who called you.

Called my cell several times today at all hours.  Caller ID say 800 Service. I don't answer these unknown and annoying calls.

GOt a call from 877-520-7110 last night around 10:30.. Didnt answer it, then looked up the number and found out it was a scam. Today (Sunday) I got a call around 5 PM showing "blocked" so I answered it. It was the same Suncoast Schools Credit Union deal. They must think teachers are suckers. Hopefully these clowns will run up a big phone bill with no results and go back to stealing hubcaps!

Repeated calls from this number. Female voice saying my ATM card has been put on hold due to ? compromise and "press 1" to reactivate the card. No organization card source (e.g. bank card, credit union, etc.) was given in the message. I always terminate these calls as they come from a known scam number (thank you for providing blogs like this to keep us informed).

More scam artist requesting personal information to suck the financial life out of people!!!!!

Mom received a call the other day, and I just received one... 877-520-7110. 10:30AM (eastern). It claims to be for Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union, however, this is a FRAUDULENT call. If you ARE a member of SSFCU, report the number after calling them directly to verify there is in fact no fraud activity.

My husband and I have been getting calls from this # 877-520-7110 and also from a 1-212-9 # advising that they have our credit card info on file and all we have to do is hit prompt #1 to verify all info is correct.  This all "BS".....just another way to suck the life and money out of people....when I call the toll free # from a land line, recording states # cannot be reached from land line, and forget about calling from your cell, it just rings busy.  These freakin a-holes.!!!!

Hereto 813 area code (Zephyrhills), however, I use call blocker pro and have set up several schedules not to be receiving calls outside my contacts lists after 2300 hours to 600 hours the next morning. I traced the call to a magic jack user in the area. No name but it is confirmed that they are using magic jack.

Called at 1:00 am to tell me that my debit card security has been comprimised, so my debit card has been suspended. To activate press 1 and give them my account number etc. I gave them no information , hung up and called Suncoast directly ...I was advised this was a scam from overseas , it's happening to many people and not just Suncoast members. This is a scam to still personal informationon. Call Suncoast and report this number.  The 1st call I received from these scamers was a 4 digit phone number id.  Tonight it was this 877-520-7110
Suncoast DOES NOT call like this.
