These people are super retarded.  We pay all our bills.  They keep calling me abput a bill I already paid a long time ago.  I gave them check numbers , been really patient trying to figure this out, because we don't want to have any unpaid debts.  I've asked them REPEATEDLY for an itemized bill with the date of service on it.  They keep saying they will send one and we've never received one, yet they keep calling.  If they think I'm handing over money blindly,  without documentation, thryve got another thing coming.  Have been nice all along n told them I have NO problem paying this amount if they provide me with the doc.  Received another call.  This time I went ape sh#t and cussed them out.  Now writing a typed letter stating I want a copy of an itemized bill, that I am disputing the debt and if they cannot provide that, they are required by law to stop contacting me and are prohibited from putting anything on the credit report.  And I'm sending it certified.

Legal?!?! I supposed that means contacting every person with in a 15 mile radius with the same last name and leaving messages that multiple criminal actions have been filed against said person because they did not show up in court on the specific day due to wire fraud. That doesn't sound like a legal practice to me I'm glad you left this information on multiple voice mails because it has all been turned over to multiple authorities from local to federal.

This company called my parents asking for me. I'm 37, haven't lived at home for 17 years. They claimed I listed their number as a contact. No way. I've had this happen before with another company. They did some web searching, found that they were my family, and tried fishing for my contact info. This is deplorable and unacceptable behavior for a company to call ANYONE other than me to try to collect a debt.

As a business providing a service to professionals, you really should take care to the way you respond to any of these posts.  I am actually dealing with a worker's comp case where my bills continue to be unpaid by my provider.  I discussed the situation with your collector that did speak to me, asked for a callback for resolution after a specified time, and never received a call back.  It would appear that your practices could use some fine tuning, as well as restaffing.  The medical practice I went to is going to hear about this, and could result in a lose of a major contributor to your paycheck.

Thanks for confirming the lack of intelligence required to be a debt collector.  Go to college, fool!   Did "u" even finish high school?  You know, I apologize, that was rude.  It must be HARD being hated by...well...everybody.  Seriously, is there anybody hated more than a debt collector?  Tell me how good it feels to call a widow on a fixed income to collect on the medical bills of their recently deceased spouse.  Or how it gets you off to call somebody without insurance to collect on that emergency room bill they can't afford but had no choice but to incur.  You're a stellar human being.  I'm not a religious person but I'm sure you are because stupid people tend to be, so do you think you're doing God's work, tormenting others for bills you probably couldn't afford either from the piss wages you get from your soulless job?  I would rather be in debt than be you.

This number called me because I didn't pay my medical bills.  I saw a doctor at the emergency room.  I can't afford the bill eventhough, I work a full-time job at one of the top two banks in the world (yes and very true).  I'm not lazy by NOOOOO means.  Mr If a bill collector is calling your phone (especially a cell number), it means that you owe them money.  The collectors are just doing their jobs.  Just because you didnt pay your bill and it went to the collectors, doesn't make the collectors 'slugs'.   Bill collectors wouldn't call that number UNLESS that number is associated with an unpaid bill.   Telemarketers are another story, they call anybody at anytime for any reason.  Telemarketers and bill collectors are NOT the same.  Just like people hate the company I work for, fine. However, most of us work there just to pay the bills not because we believe in whatever the CEO's agendas are.  So, like bill collectors, they are working to put the food on the table and pay for the roof over their heads....

Get calls from these people all the time, then I started getting bills in my name that were for a different patient name. If the patient name doesn't match the name on the bill, don't send it to me! And no I don't have any kids that it might be referring to.

Losers? First and foremost, your comment instills all kinds of confidence in me as a person in debt and in trouble. You can't even spell "collector" correctly. Secondly, some of us are out of work permanently because we were injured and can't pay the bills. We have little choice but to let them just get charged off if we cannot afford to pay them. Third, the last time I DID pay your MiraMed the money that I owed, they called me back to tell me I paid the wrong amount and still owed twice as much. When I asked for a copy of the paperwork, they hung up. It sounds to me like they just collect on a bad debt and keep milking until they eventually kill their victim, then they move on to the next.

Find a real job actually HELPING people, instead of taking advantage of them.

Everyone else... ignore the calls, block the numbers, tell them to go to hell. Legally anyone doing a credit check on you cannot use medical bills against you.

I told them to have someone from the US call me or I wouldn't talk with them.  They kept telling me - in a heavily Indian accent - they were from the US.  I hung up.  Don't owe anyone.  Finished paying a medical bill I had disputed - I ended up owing half of what I was charged which is why it wasn't paid earlier.

To all the collectors defending this company here...

They called me five times this week and hung up each time as soon as I said "Hello".  When I tried to call the number back, my network said that I was not able to call this number.  When I Googled the number, I found that my phone was trying to call 011 first.  When I called the number with 1 first instead of 011, I was finally able to get someone on the phone. I explained to him how a phone conversation works.  First, you call me, then I say "Hello", then you say something, then I say something.  I received the notice in the mail one day before their 5th call.  I told him that I would send the check immediately, but he kept pressuring me to pay by phone.  I'm sorry, but you have to understand that with identity theft rampant, no one is going to just hand over money over the phone to a company that can't even sort out their automated phone system.  I got the thing in the mail.  I will pay it through the mail.  Learn how to use a phone.

Yea this company is crap.  Taken me to court 3 times, and all 3 times I've won because it's a fraud case, but yet they still harrass me.  Too bad they aren't as confident in their own jobs that they need to whine and beg for money.  Go to school, get an education, get a real job.

Excuse me, bottom feedling loser...obviously you have free time on your hands or you wouldn't waste your time trying to cover up your phony debt collection activities by making a very poorly expressed bogus post on the website designed to expose your illegal activity.  Of course, since a lot of folks say when they pick up there is no one there, maybe in your country, you've not yet learned to work the electronic system designed to help you try to scam people.

Some guy obviously from India called asking for a person who did not live here. Told him no one by that name lived here and insisted on giving company name and telephone number anyway. Accent was so bad he it took 3 times before I could understand him. I started talking like him with fake accents so he was pretty pissed by the time he hung up.

These calls are OBVIOUSLY coming in from overseas as I doubt that Terrance Martin, who I had to ask 3X who he was and STILL barely understood him, was calling fron ANYWHERE in the USA. If you're gonna hire collectors, AT LEAST make sure people can understand them and you REALLY should screen them for politness. Most of these guys are RUDE and will NEVER get to talk with anyone if we cannot understand you and don't even THINK of getting anywhere with the attitudes.

The guy who called you will tell you what company he's callin from ... its MiraMed Revenue Group, the reason why he asked for a reference no is to pull up your information. He wouldn't like to give you information as you may not be the person he is trying to reach or he could be penalised for doing so. If its a collector, unless and until he is sure that you are the debtor or the spouse and after verifying the debtors DOB will he tell you the nature of the call.... So please don't be mad at people who call you from MiraMed they are only trying from their side to get your job done before its too late.
Further more they are a legitimate company callin you from Lombard IL .  Comapany website  http://www.miramedrg.com/
