Got a call from this number. Any idea who it could be?

This is how "Kevin Bue" and his fellow scam scumbags work: You're led to a hotel conference lobby---where the scam team have a meeting set up. As an arriving "finalist", they tell you by showing up, you've entered to win one of 5 Dell laptop PCs ( you gotta spend some money--to make MORE money).

The "marketing team" this Kevin Blue works for IS legit!!  They are a legit marketing company, retained by some Mob owned real estate outfit, to attract "fish" who might take up w/ the offer to buy summer condo.

There's an exploitable loophole work-around of the Do Not Call list.

I got the same call with the toll free number 1-877-524-4248 to call back, my caller ID listed the number as 708-248-7532 which I traced back to Tomika Hill, 503 Illinois St, Park Forest IL. Two other numbers from the messages in this thread, 708-283-5066 and 708-283-5904 traced back to Chicago Heights as unlisted numbers.

I just got a call from Kevin Blue saying I won an suv. I called the number back (1-877-524-4248) and a guy answered. He said that my name was pulled from a drawing spread out through louisiana between January 2009 - January 2010. I don't ever remember entering a contest and the funny thing is that he called and left a message on my house phone that i just got 2 weeks ago. (So why would i have entered my name in a contest a year ago using a number that i just got) He told me to come claim my prize with my conformation number (ITC 6463) and 2 forms of ID at 365 Canal St. Suite 1500 in New Orleans.

"Kevin Blue" left a voice message saying that I was a finalist to win a "brand new SUV". "It would be in your best interest" to call back at 877-524-4248 ext 100. The number he called FROM was (708) 248-7494.

I just got the same call last night on my voicemail, from Todd Lee.  Caller ID read 708-283-4878, Special Promotions.  I assume many/all of us are on the "Do Not Call" list, has anyone reported these guys?

I'm also getting a lot of calls from bill collectors.  I'm not a deadbeat but the person who formerly lived at my address is.  Even though the number has changed, they apparently skip traced him and got MY number.  And my cell phone number.  I have no idea how many collectors there are; I sent a cease and desist letter to one, but I wouldn't be too surprised if this were a bill collection attempt, if not an outright scam.

I too received a call from Kevin Blue stating the I was a finalist to win a SUV. My caller ID showed that Kevin Blue called from 708-283-4625 and Kevin Blue stated to call him back at 877-524-4248 ext.100. I called the 877 number back using *67 to block my name and number from their caller ID. It rang many times and I could hear it switch to different numbers in which someone picked up and began dialing. Obviously, they didn't know I was on the phone. I could hear background noise and when I said "hello" they hung up. I didn't waste my time calling back as my curiosity was satisfied. I too believe this call was a telemarketing call. My number is on the Federal Do Not Call list. Obviously, these folks don't care about that. Most likely that is why they now will not answer their phone.

call from a kevin blue saying i was a finalist in winning a suv, remember filling out card quite awhile back, calld 877-524-4248, kept asking for a pin number tried x100 but went backto asking for a pin number before hanging up.

I just received a phone call from my mother in law excited she won and SUV. They left messages on her answering machine. I had her play the messages for me. Same names (Todd Lee) and phone #'s. One call was yesterday, one came in today giving her 24 hrs to call. Extremely sad when they prey on senior citizens. Now, I have to call her back and explain. Thanks for all the posts!

I just received a recorded message from Kevin Blue, saying that I had won an SUV.  I did not register for one. The number to call back was:1-877-524-4248 Ext. 100.  The number is registered to a music studio.  Fishy!
I will have to bookmark this site for future use.

 Had message left on phone to call Todd Lee. Said I won an SUV.  I didn't enter any contest.  Glad I found this website.  I won't be calling back.

Just received a call from this Todd Lee guy. Never entered anything for an SUV. Besides the Number is registered to a Music station out in Chicago some were but the number came from 1-708-2834512  located out in Park Forest Il. just south of Chicago. Screams scam all over it to me.

Nancy, You're kidding, right?  I also did not enter a contest for an SUV.  I'm not sure what the scam is.  I did try to call 877-524-4248 x 100, but there was no answer.  I wonder what the scam is?  Are they collected numbers of people who are gullible enough to call the number?

Anyone can give out anyones phone number . If caller ID says one number and person says to cann a different number it may be proof.

Rec'd same mess from Kevin Blu. Never called back. Better check your phone bills. Sometimes you are charged for making the return call.Call back # was the same 877-524-4248.

caller ID said Park forest 708-283-5904. I looked this up and found:

must be a scam. I did not enter any contest.
Phoned 877 # and no answer.

Just got the call. Never entered the contest. I didn't call back. 100% scam.

Just had to call to see how dishonest people can be.  It rang and rang and rang.  Where's my SUV?  They are gas guzzlers anyway.  Who wants one.  No answer.  Hung up.

My mom just got the same call, from a Kevin Blue saying she had won an SUV.  The guy instructed her to call back at 877-524-4248 ext 100 as well.  I just called it, let it ring a bit, hit #100 and got through to someone who answered the phone as Special Promotions.  Didn't bother asking anything else.  Scam.

I received a phone call at 2:30 PM EST, Mr Kevin Bloom said I was a finalist and won a SUV...but the point is I never entered a contest...Just like the others. I am so tired of SCAM calls.
The phone number on caller ID was 708-283-5066 and my message said to call back at:
877-524-4248 ext 100

Same as Michelle.  No answer.  Definitely a scam.

Got a call from "Todd Lee" who said on the answering machine that I was a finalist for a brand new SUV. Never entered anything for one. Caller ID says it was from "U S Govt Dept O" (that's all that fit on the screen) and the # was 708-283-3578 but caller asked me to call back this 877 #. Tried to call back and there was no answer.

you must work for them, it sound like an scam to me, as they called saying I submitted and entry to win an SUV which i never did.

That's special promotions. They're a legit company. If they called you it could only be good news! Good luck to you darling..
